00:08early Saturday in Serikembangan.

00:11The operation was carried out at about 12.45 a.m. at an abandoned building believed to

00:16have been used as an illegal settlement.

00:19A total of 73 foreigners were screened, and 33 of them, aged between 25 and 60, were detained

00:27for various immigration offenses.

00:29Preliminary investigations revealed that the abandoned building had been occupied by

00:34foreigners since 2020.

00:37Authorities also discovered illegally installed water and electricity at the premises.

00:42The detainees, who are from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanmar and India, have been taken to the

00:47Bukit Jalil immigration depot for further action.
