00:00So, Jono, there we are. That was my interview with the Defence Minister of Pakistan a little bit earlier.
00:06But what are India saying right now? He said there that every nation does have the right to defend themselves.
00:12Well, they are refuting the claims of the 50 Indian soldiers that have been killed in retaliation.
00:19They have, however, confirmed targeted air defence systems have been hit by Indian Air Force through to Pakistan.
00:25But that is as much as they're saying right now. This tit-for-tat military back and forth that's taking place seems to just be costing civilian lives at the moment with no confirmation that any soldiers have actually lost their lives so far.
00:38Scary, especially in a nuclear-armed standoff between both nations at the moment.
00:43But the blame game, and this is unfortunately keeping justice from ever being served or from any sort of a neither side seems to want to come to the table to talk about this, which is what's causing the slight issue right now.
00:54For the moment, India is saying that it is not correct, 15 is what they're reporting as civilians who have been killed.
