00:04Well, the conflict has already begun.

00:06It is a hot conflict.

00:08It is not a full-out war, but we have got further in this conflict than we have for many years.

00:14I'd say this is the most intense continuation of a conflict between India and Pakistan since the 1999 Kargil War.

00:24So you are looking at a major change.

00:26I think what's also interesting here is you've seen how the rules of engagement by India have altered.

00:32Go back to the 2019 Balakot airstrike.

00:36And since then, India has now adopted this policy of preemptive action, which is to do cross-border strikes against non-state actors.

00:45So they targeted the terrorist camps of the Lashkari Toiba in Muridke, the Jayshi Mohammed in Walpur, and then also the Hezbollah Mujahideen.

00:54So you've seen these camps that have existed for a very long time suddenly finding the infrastructure being dismantled.
