00:27professional and it's been an honor doing business with all of them and in particular

00:32the Prime Minister and I'd like to introduce him now to say a few words. Mr. Prime Minister,

00:39please take it away. Thank you, Mr. President Donald and this is a really fantastic historic

00:47day in which we can announce this deal between our two great countries and I think it's a real

00:52tribute to the history that we have of working so closely together. Today's agreement with the UK

01:01is the first in a series of agreements on trade that my administration has been negotiating over

01:06the past four weeks. With this deal, the UK joins the United States in affirming that reciprocity

01:13and fairness is an essential and vital principle of international trade. The deal includes billions

01:21of dollars of increased market access for American exports, especially in agriculture, dramatically

01:28increasing access for American beef, ethanol, and virtually all of the products produced by our

01:36great farmers. The planes, they sell Rolls-Royce engines to Boeing. We've agreed to let Rolls-Royce

01:43engines and those kind of plane parts to come over tariff-free and what you're going to hear today

01:49is there's going to be an announcement in the UK that they are buying $10 billion worth of Boeing

01:55planes later today, but I'm going to let the name of the airline announce it because that's theirs to

02:01do it. Part of this deal was always to do it together and to do it strong. We've agreed the basis of a

02:09historic economic prosperity deal. And that is a deal that will protect British businesses and save

02:16thousands of jobs in Britain. Really important, skilled, well-paid jobs. It will remove tariffs of British

02:26steel and aluminium, reducing them to zero. It will provide vital assurances for our life sciences sector so

02:35important to our economy and grant unprecedented market access for British farmers without compromising

02:43our high standards. And for the great British cars that you make here that we see all around us,

02:51this deal means that the US tariffs will now be cut from 27 and a half percent down to 10 percent for a

03:00hundred thousand vehicles every year. That's a huge and important reduction.
