00:23We just marked last week Trump's 100th day in office.

00:30Now he's calling for investigations

00:32and claiming the pardons are void and vacant.

00:37Why is he so fixated on you and blaming you for everything?

00:45Old man Joe also grumbling about the coup

00:48and the veep who failed him.

00:51I think she's first rate,

00:53but we have a lot of really good candidates as well.

00:56Why do you think the vice president lost,

00:58and were you surprised?

01:03They went the route of the sexist route,

01:06the whole route.

01:07I mean, this is a woman.

01:09Some have even argued that leaving the race

01:12and endorsing your vice president,

01:16over 100 days before the election

01:18hampered her campaign.

01:20There were still six full months.

01:22In six full months, she was fully funded.

01:26Tom Shalhou never looked so good.

01:27But enough with the malarkey.

01:29Let's bring out the real former president.

01:32The people who wrote those books

01:34were not in the White House with us.

01:37He put in a full day,

01:39and then at night he would,

01:41I'd be in bed, you know,

01:42reading my book,

01:43and he was still on the phone

01:45reading his briefings,

01:47working with staff.

01:49I mean, it was nonstop.

01:51I did not create a cocoon around him.

01:53I didn't have him, you know,

01:55sequestered in some place.

01:57Was that hurtful to you

01:58when they were describing you

01:59as Lady Macbeth and all of those?

02:00Yes, it was very hurtful.

02:29you're supposed to go give speeches

02:31for $100,000 at a time

02:32and enjoy it.

02:34I don't think he can do that.

02:35I don't think there's an audience for it.

02:39which is kind of funny.

02:40Well, that's interesting

02:41because there is talk

02:43that they're going to sell

02:44the his and hers

02:45autobiographies

02:46for $30 million.

02:48That's half what the Obama's got,

02:50but that hers actually

02:51might be a little bit more interesting

02:53because she kept a diary

02:54every day, Jessica.

02:56What is it with the Bidens

02:57and the diaries?

02:58They should stop writing stuff down.

03:00Those two are definitely writing it.

03:02It's not ghostwritten at all.

03:04Not a chance.

03:06Now, if you're a man,

03:07a real man, Kennedy,

03:10the view should not love you.

03:13The view doesn't like real men.

03:15So if the fact that Biden

03:16goes on the view

03:17and they adore him

03:18says a lot about Joe Biden

03:19and I'm feeling like Dr. Jill

03:22is like Jordan Hudson,

03:23like Belichick's girlfriend,

03:25constantly running interference,

03:27constantly interrupting everybody,

03:29managing him.

03:30And it seems like Biden

03:32feels like OJ felt

03:33after the trial.

03:34It's like everybody knows

03:36you're bad.

03:37Everybody knows you did it.

03:39No one wants to be seen with you.

03:41This is the only show

03:42in this country

03:42that will sit down

03:44and actually like Joe Biden.

03:46That's what it says.

03:47He says that

03:48he knew she was going to lose,

03:51Kamala Harris.

03:52Well, then why did he bow out?

03:54If you knew she's going to lose,

03:56why didn't you stay and fight

03:57if you thought you could have beat Trump?

03:58So that was a lie.

03:59Or if you knew she was going to lose

04:01because the country's sexist,

04:03why'd you pick her as vice president?

04:05Because you were supposed

04:06to hand off this thing

04:07to the vice president.

04:08So why would you pick someone

04:10who you knew the country hated

04:11and was going to reject?

04:14Also, does it make any sense?

04:15When Bush left office,

04:17he was also unpopular.

04:18Not this unpopular,

04:19but unpopular.

04:20But he left with class and dignity.

04:22He said,

04:23I knew what I needed to do

04:24with the war on terror.

04:25I knew it was right.

04:26I stuck to my guns

04:27and will let history judge.

04:29This guy is disgraceful.

04:33He should just never go back

04:35on television ever again.

04:37He was already diminished,

04:40but his legacy is just,

04:41it's even worse now.

04:44All right.

04:44So Dana, he has hired a crisis PR person,

04:47a political insider he used to work with,

04:50who has now shifted gears,

04:52as you do,

04:52because you always have to have

04:53a revenue stream

04:54when you leave politics.

04:56Sure.

04:56So what is the point

04:58of them going out there?

04:59Is it just to craft a narrative

05:01against the multitude of books

05:03that are coming out

05:04talking about his cognitive decline?

05:06I think certainly they have,

05:08if they, you know,

05:09they have a lot of costs, right?

05:13In the post-presidency.

05:14Oh, yeah.

05:14And they're not getting the invitations

05:16to give the speeches

05:17that Joey's talking about, obviously.

05:19And like, remember,

05:20he gave one speech

05:21and it was not good.

05:23And I can see why the Democrats

05:25are somewhat vocal now

05:27about not needing to hear

05:29from them again,

05:30but they are convinced

05:31that they need to.

05:32And the guy that they hired,

05:33great guy, like nice guy.

05:34In fact, I think his mom

05:35watches The Five,

05:36so hello to you, Mrs. Mayor.

05:39But I kind of feel

05:39it's like Groundhog Day

05:40with Joe Biden.

05:41Like every time he comes up,

05:42they see a shadow

05:43and then it's another

05:44six weeks of bad press.

05:46And then Jill acts

05:47like the last soldier

05:49on the island

05:49after the war is over.

05:51She's like, no,

05:51actually, everything's still fine.

05:52Everything's great.

05:53We're still fighting.

05:54Everything's good.

05:54There were 50 sources

05:56who were talking to the press

05:58saying how bad it was.

05:59And they weren't Republican sources.

06:01There were sources

06:02inside the White House

06:02and in and around the campaign.

06:04So I think that

06:06it's not off to a great start

06:08and it probably will end even worse.

06:10Yes.

06:10And it was almost hard

06:12watching Dr. Jill intervene

06:14when she was like,

06:15did those, you know,

06:16to Dana's point,

06:17did those people live

06:18in the White House?

06:19They did not.
