00:00what say you about a profile and courage award for mike pence it tells you how far we've fallen

00:08as a nation when you are courageous for doing the job you swore to do he took an oath to uphold the

00:14constitution he did that job and it's it tells you how far this nation has fallen because

00:19the very thing that he's tried to prevent this nation voted for the very a man that he tried to

00:24prevent from committing what is tantamount to treason is now the president and so it says a

00:30lot about this country that a man who is obviously very courageous mike pence is a very principled man

00:37but he's a pariah in that in that party now and he's a pariah for doing exactly what he was supposed

00:42to do which was swaying allegiance to the constitution instead of a man yes you could say he just simply

00:47did his job but you have to look at the landscape you've got to look at the thousands of people

00:53who were there who were insurrectionists and the president of the united states was egging them

01:00on telling um the world that mike pence needed not to certify the election and knowing he would be

01:09in grave danger his life would be in danger but he would also be committing treason if he didn't

01:14that's not the way a lot of the country sees it but he's still committing treason if he did not

01:20certify the election as he's elected to do it he did it at the expense possibly of the safety of

01:27himself and his family and i don't think you can minimize that i'm most certainly not trying to

01:32minimize that but it and i said again i'll say it again it tells you how far we've fallen as a as a

01:37nation when the very thing uh... when detect when when you risked your life saying that you'll do what

01:43it is you swore to do and and and how taxidermy we are now when the very the very man it isn't an oath

01:51to the constitution you swear these days it's an allegiance to a man and so i believe in my heart

01:56of heart america has gone that that america is gone so mike pence is a is a is a is a testament to the

02:04way democracy was supposed to hold up that no longer exists even that we're having this argument right

02:09now it shouldn't he should have never been it had to be in danger for doing with hundreds with

02:14with dozens of people right of course any any is for the very reason that and that's the very reason

02:21you don't go see a guy like that after you want a championship because of these arguments we'd have

02:25been better off letting him do what he did that day and this would be over by now we would have been

02:30it had been better because they made the exact same decision uh four years later mike pence stood in

02:35the gap and did what men are men who profess to love this country and be patriot that's what a patriot
