00:00You
00:14Have you got what it takes to make it all the way to our final question and join the 1% club?
00:19Anyone has a chance to win because this quiz isn't about how much you know
00:21It's about how your brain really works all our questions about logic and common sense
00:26So who will make it to the end and answer a question only one percent of the country can get right and win up to
00:31100,000 pounds
00:39I know people in tonight's are 100 players
00:46As ever we want to know give us a cheer if you think you're gonna do well today
00:49How are you? I'm all right. How are you? I'm all right. Yeah, did you come by boat?
00:57Yeah, I've got it clear. You've got your life jacket on and the hats and what's your name? Steve Steve
01:03Okay, and what do you do? Self storage manager. Are you? Yeah, okay. You become straight from work?
01:11Found it in a lockup. No one claimed it. I thought I'll put it on it. I'm gonna bring the rubber dengue, but I thought I'd better leave it you know
01:16Are you so confident you're gonna do well just watch this show every day if I can make practice all the time
01:23Yeah, can't get you out of my head to be honest. I'm so sorry about that
01:26Do you take me into your thoughts in every situation?
01:30What will you do if you win the money I find inflatable version of you?
01:36Get rid of the dinghy and sail off on that
01:38Great good luck now. Don't forget you can play along at home if you want all you have to do is download the app
01:43Okay, before we ask our first question. Here's a reminder of how the show works
01:47We asked a cross-section of people from all over Britain a list of our unique questions
01:51Based on their answers we can tell statistically what percentage of the country should get each one right
01:58Tonight I'll be asking those exact questions to our 100 contestants beginning with the easier one that 90% of Britain got right and ending with the most challenging question
02:06That only 1% of the great British public answered correctly
02:09At the start of the show every contestant is given a 1,000 pound steak if they get any question wrong
02:16They are out of the game and the 1,000 pounds is transferred to the 1% prize pot
02:23Whoever gets the third list in the quiz wins 10,000 pounds and the chance to answer the final 1% question to win everything in the prize pot
02:31And take home up to 100,000 pounds
02:33So this is one that 90% of our survey got right. Let's see how you do
02:48Which of these does not make a word when the letters are placed in reverse order okay your time starts now
02:54So this is the first question of the night or for some of you the last question of the night
03:03Okay, your time is up. Let's see who's like stay on and are still in the game and how many people are out?
03:22Okay, we lost two of you there. Let's have a look at the answer
03:39It's B dust backwards is not a word
03:43Unfortunately, we've lost Alina Rooksa Mahmood. Where are you?
03:47Yeah, what happened? I'm not gonna lie. I don't think I read the question properly. I did click B and then I thought it said stud
03:55So I thought it said which of these does not make a word which it does
04:00I did nuts and then I did nuts stud and buns and then I was like
04:04Oh, so you thought all three of them made words. Yeah, and then I just as pressure. I don't know
04:09I know it's horrible in it because you pick some in there. You can change your mind at the last second
04:12What made you apply Alina me and my sister who's also here?
04:15You've got a sister here. Yeah. Oh, where's your sister? Over there. Hello Alina's sister
04:21Hiya. You're laughing slightly as if she's not really my sister
04:26She's just making it up. What's your name? Arusa. Arusa. Did you travel together today?
04:31Yes, we did. Did you chat about who might go the furthest?
04:34Yeah, and what was the conclusions of that chat? I'm gonna deny she's my sister if she gets on the 90%
04:40You said that to her?
04:42Right, you're sort of giving it away by saying that though, haven't you? Yeah
04:45That would be great if it had just gone to you and you'd have gone, that woman is not my sister
04:48How far did you think she'd get?
04:50The 70%? I thought you were gonna say how surprised she even made it to the studio
04:55How far do you think you'll get? To the 5% or 1%
04:59Whoa
05:00Back to you Alina. Do you think she'll go that far?
05:02Yeah, we'll see. I mean if she doesn't get if she gets on the next one, I'm not taking her back home
05:06It's as simple as that. I don't think you're in a position to speak are you?
05:11Unlucky Alina, but I'm sure if you do win you will split the money with her, won't you?
05:16Okay
05:18There are 98 people still left in the game and the thousand pounds of everyone who got the question wrong now goes into the prize pot
05:23Let's see what that's done to the total
05:25Two thousand pounds
05:29Okay, it is time for the 80% question
05:34So this is a question that 80% of the people we asked managed to get right see how you get on with this one
05:41Shanti is bored and removes her sunglasses keys pen train ticket and lipstick from her handbag
05:48Puts them in alphabetical order and takes a photo from above which of these is the correct photo and your time starts now
05:55Shanty really needs a hobby
05:57Shanty really needs a hobby
05:59What you got about?
06:19Okay, your time is up right let's see you got it right
06:21OK, we lost five people there. Let's have a look at the answer.
06:42It's B, and there they are.
06:44Someone who got that wrong is Jacob Carnegie.
06:47That's me.
06:48You said that very confidently, like I'd said,
06:50someone who got it very much right.
06:51That is me. Sorry, wrong.
06:54Jacob, what do you do?
06:56Well, I just thought I got it right until you said my name,
06:58so that's why I was confused. I'm a student at UCL.
07:01That's a hell of a long answer for what do you do.
07:03You genuinely thought you got it right?
07:05Yeah, well, I was a bit confused,
07:07but I must have just muddled up the A and the B.
07:09That's exactly what happened.
07:12Are you a competitive sort?
07:14Oh, I'm very competitive, which is why it's so frustrating.
07:17I'm actually an amateur natural bodybuilder.
07:19What do you mean, a natural bodybuilder? You mean no steroids?
07:21That's right, yeah.
07:22OK. Are you ripped?
07:24I don't know. Are you asking to see?
07:27I'm absolutely not.
07:30Because with your face, it would look like Harry Potter stripping.
07:34And it would feel wrong.
07:37Never mind, Jacob.
07:38Right, let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
07:42£7,000.
07:43Right, we are on to the 70% question.
07:49Let's have a look at this one.
07:52Serena is about to cast a vote for her local council.
07:55She picks the candidate with a name that is an anagram of electoral system.
07:59Who does she vote for?
08:01OK, your time starts now.
08:02I know I have to remain impartial, but I think Serena might be an idiot.
08:08LAUGHTER
08:09OK, your time is up.
08:28Right, let's see who got it right.
08:29Right, we lost five people on that one.
08:47Let's have a look at the answer.
08:50It's B.
08:50It's the only name that has any S's.
08:52We lost five of you, including Lady Rebecca Dugdale.
08:56Are you really a lady?
08:57No.
08:58I don't mean, are you really a woman?
08:59I mean, are you...
09:00You're a woman, but are you a lady?
09:02I bought the title.
09:04From?
09:05Internet.
09:06Oh, you just go online, you can buy a title?
09:08Buy a title, got a little bit of land.
09:10How much land did you get?
09:11About this much.
09:14Are you serious?
09:15Yeah.
09:16How much is that much land with the title Lady?
09:18About £100 worth.
09:20And what would you have done with the money?
09:21I would have bought another piece of land.
09:22Another piece of land.
09:23Um, I've got about 40 tattoos that my dad doesn't know about.
09:27Um, nearly 50 years old and I've never told him.
09:30And I wanted more.
09:31Where are they?
09:32All hidden.
09:33On dead bodies or yours?
09:35LAUGHTER
09:35On mine.
09:36Under my patio, some in the forest.
09:39Yeah, on my body.
09:39All of your body there are 40 tattoos.
09:41Mm.
09:41And he doesn't know?
09:43Does now.
09:45Listen, unlucky, Rebecca Dugdale and your small patch of land.
09:48Yes.
09:48Um, let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
09:53£12,000.
09:54CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
09:55Time for the 60% question.
10:02OK, let's take a look.
10:05Amlan is very particular about how he lays out the apps on his home screen.
10:08Which of these completes Amlan's layout?
10:11Your 30 seconds starts now.
10:13Amlan looks like a fun guy to hang out with.
10:22LAUGHTER
10:22Which of these completes Amlan's layout?
10:33OK, your time is up.
10:45Let's see who got it right.
10:46Wow, we lost 19 there.
11:12That was starting to sound like the first round of Squid Game.
11:14LAUGHTER
11:14Let's have a look at the answer.
11:18The logos on the app spell out, don't cry over spilt,
11:21and so milk completes the sequence.
11:23Lots of people out there, including Christine Ord.
11:26Where are you, Christine?
11:27I'm Haley.
11:28Hey, Christine, how are you doing?
11:30So embarrassed for getting that wrong.
11:32That is, I think that's quite a tough one for a 60% question.
11:34What do you do, Christine?
11:35I'm a recruitment coordinator, so I check passports, proofs of address.
11:39OK.
11:40Any hobbies?
11:41Yes, I write horror poetry for the comedic twist.
11:46Yes.
11:46Do you?
11:47Would you like to hear one, Lee?
11:49Nah.
11:49Of course I would.
11:52I would love to hear it, Christine.
11:53Every night at midnight, I meet you on my stairs.
11:57That's really quite surprising.
11:58You've been dead 100 years.
12:01That's it.
12:02There's no more.
12:03There's no more.
12:03That's quite disturbing.
12:05What would you have done with the money, Christine?
12:10Well, I was hoping to get a jowl lift.
12:13A what?
12:14This.
12:15Oh.
12:15Sort of sucked up, pinched up a bit, and sort of tightened.
12:18And a bit of a tummy tuck.
12:20You look great.
12:21You don't need any lifts or tucks.
12:23Yeah, you can tell why you're good on the other show, can't you?
12:25Yeah, that's a lie.
12:27Anyone waiting to find out how you get on, Christine?
12:29Yes, me son, who's very disappointed in me.
12:32Oh, no.
12:32Is sitting over there.
12:34Oh, you're joking.
12:35Hello, son.
12:36Hello, Dad.
12:37Hello.
12:41Thank God, I did meet you on the stairs.
12:44What's your name, sir?
12:45Michael.
12:46Did you think Mum would do better?
12:48To be honest, I'm surprised you got that far, so...
12:50Wow!
12:52That's a bit harsh.
12:53That's your mother.
12:53Have some respect.
12:55So, let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
13:00We are on £31,000.
13:02OK, it's time for a quick break.
13:04We've lost 31 people here already.
13:05I hope you're doing OK at home.
13:07And don't forget, you can play along on the app.
13:09After the break, we will be moving closer to seeing if anyone here can answer the 1% questions.
13:13See you in a bit.
13:14Welcome back to the 1% Club.
13:29We started off with 100 people and now we are down to 69.
13:32The person who does best here tonight could be going home with up to £100,000.
13:37CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
13:39So, welcome to everyone who's still in the game.
13:42And from now on, we are going to give you the option to pay for a pass to the next question.
13:46And if you do, your £1,000 will be transferred to the prize pot.
13:49However, if you get as far as the 30% question without using your pass,
13:52you'll get the chance to take your £1,000 and leave the game.
13:55Right, it's time for the 50% question.
14:00Let's take a look.
14:03If even numbers are blue and odd numbers are red, what colour is red plus red?
14:09OK, your 30 seconds starts now.
14:16Only on this show would the question be, what is red plus red?
14:19Don't forget that pass.
14:41OK, your time is up.
14:43Right, let's see who got it right.
14:44MUSIC PLAYS
14:46Right, we lost four people. Let's have a look at the answer.
15:03It's blue. Two odd numbers always makes an even number,
15:05so two reds make a blue.
15:07We have lost Megan Clark.
15:09Hi. Hello, Megan.
15:10Why did you put the other one? Was it logic or was it a guess?
15:13It was logic.
15:14What was the logic?
15:16What colour is red plus red?
15:18Makes red?
15:20Yes.
15:22That would be true if you were mixing paint.
15:24Yeah, that's what I was picturing.
15:26But there's other words before that, isn't there?
15:28I kind of ignored all that.
15:29It didn't say...
15:29Well, you probably have to read it all.
15:31This is a maths question.
15:33You're not visiting Farrow and Ball.
15:34Yeah.
15:35Because if the even numbers are blue and odd numbers are red,
15:37what colour is red and red?
15:39You just read what is red plus red?
15:40Yeah.
15:41And thought, well, it must be red.
15:42Exactly.
15:42Yeah, I know. I know where you're coming from now.
15:44What do you do, Megan?
15:46A police officer.
15:47You're not.
15:48I am.
15:48You're one of the boys in red.
15:51Blue.
15:52Sorry.
15:53Well, if there's two of you together, I thought...
15:54No, forget that.
15:56What would you have done with the money, Megan?
15:57Well, I did want to go to space.
16:00Pardon?
16:00A ticket was a bit out of my budget, so it might have got me there,
16:05but maybe not back.
16:07But you can go on a plane that, like, nosedives and you get no gravity.
16:12So it's the no gravity you want.
16:13Exactly.
16:13But you're not in space.
16:15You're just sort of hurtling to it.
16:15Well, I can eat my astronaut ice cream, no gravity.
16:18It might feel like I'm kind of in space.
16:20What's astronaut ice cream?
16:21It's like freeze-dried ice cream.
16:23But is it dry?
16:24Yeah, but when you put it in your mouth, it melts and turns into ice cream.
16:28Yeah, so does ice cream.
16:30Unlucky, Megan.
16:32OK, let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
16:36£41,000.
16:38Right, it's time for the 45% question.
16:43Let's take a look.
16:46Without reordering any letters, what fruit appears in the sentence below?
16:50Your time starts now.
16:54If you want to get this right, concentrate.
16:57It's a fruit juice joke.
16:58You try doing this.
17:22OK, your time is up.
17:24Let's see whose lights are still on.
17:39OK, we lost just one of you, though.
17:41Let's have a look at the answer.
17:43There it is.
17:44Lemon.
17:44Someone who didn't get it right but used their pass.
17:46Benjamin Crowley, you used a pass, didn't you?
17:48I did.
17:49Did you see it after the time or did you panic?
17:51How did that work?
17:52Second after I clicked it.
17:53Oh, that's annoying.
17:54What do you do, Benjamin?
17:55I'm a student.
17:56Are you?
17:56What are you studying?
17:57Professional policeman.
17:58You're studying to be a policeman?
17:59Yeah, yeah.
18:00And what kind of questions do you get asked when you're doing those kind of courses?
18:02Is it like, what is red plus red?
18:03That tab of thing?
18:05Sorry.
18:06That's the last one, I promise you.
18:07Not quite.
18:08What might you do with the money if you win?
18:10I'll probably set aside a little bit of money for my mum to help us up her little business.
18:14Oh, very nice.
18:15Something like that.
18:15Any hobbies, Benjamin?
18:16I like bingo.
18:18I do like bingo.
18:18Wow, a man of your age, obviously.
18:21I know.
18:22Do you go to the bingo?
18:23No, play on the phone.
18:25On the phone?
18:26Yeah.
18:26Tombola.
18:28What?
18:29Tombola arcade.
18:31Oh, you mean, genuinely, because I'm so old, I thought you meant like that.
18:38I thought, get a life, mate.
18:39Oh, you mean like that.
18:41God, I really need to get with it, don't I?
18:45House!
18:45House!
18:47OK, well, listen, good luck.
18:49Let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
18:52We are on £53,000.
18:56OK, now it's time for the 40% question.
19:00Let's take a look at this.
19:03What one letter replaces the asterisks to complete this sentence?
19:08And your time starts now.
19:10I'm starting to think I'm C-R-Asterisk-P at this game.
19:22LAUGHTER
19:23Don't forget that pass.
19:30OK, your time is up.
19:41Let's see who got it right.
19:42MUSIC
19:43Right, we lost 11 people there.
19:50Let's have a look at the answer.
20:04It's P, and there it is in red.
20:08Let's talk to someone who got it wrong.
20:10Wait a minute.
20:11Big news.
20:12We've also lost the other sister, Arusa.
20:15Arusa, you're out.
20:16What happened?
20:17I did tea.
20:18I saw the second where I thought tampered,
20:20and then I realised afterwards.
20:22Be honest, Alina, how do you feel now she's out?
20:24I'm elated.
20:25No, you're related.
20:26Yeah.
20:27I'm kind of happy now that she's got out,
20:29because now, I mean, we would have split.
20:32She said we wouldn't have split if she...
20:33Yeah.
20:34But, yeah, I'm happy now, so...
20:36You're genuinely pleased she's out?
20:38Yeah, I don't blame you.
20:39I mean, a little bit gutted.
20:40Yeah, but...
20:40Now we can't split any money, but...
20:42But you get to not be mocked by her forever.
20:45Yeah, and she can pay for dinner tonight,
20:46because she got further than me, so...
20:48It's a win-win for me now.
20:50OK, well, listen, unlucky.
20:51Now, on this one, 18 people used a pass,
20:54including Dean Landis.
20:56Dean.
20:56Hello.
20:57Hello, Dean, how are you?
20:58Not bad, mate, not bad.
20:59Did you just not see it at all?
21:00I went through the alphabet, got to B,
21:02realised boob wouldn't be in it,
21:03and then carried on, got stuck at the M.
21:07Boob is a word, though.
21:08It is.
21:08I kind of had a little chuckle to myself,
21:09and then realised that...
21:11You had time for a bit of fun in the 30 seconds.
21:13I like that.
21:14And then Baybuff didn't work.
21:15Something tells me you're not taking this seriously enough.
21:17Best way to be.
21:18What do you do, first of all?
21:19I work for London Underground as a signal operator.
21:22Oh, OK.
21:22And what will you do if you win the money?
21:24So I once did a hot chicken wing challenge
21:27in Man Vs Food,
21:28and you've got to wear goggles, gloves,
21:30and you've got to sign a wafer.
21:31Sign a wafer?
21:32Yeah.
21:33Yeah, it's not part of the dessert.
21:35Oh, you mean a waver?
21:36Same thing.
21:37That's all right.
21:39Yeah.
21:39And how did you get on?
21:40I didn't.
21:41No, I failed miserably.
21:42And all my friends had a good laugh at me
21:43because they thought it was funny.
21:45Right.
21:45So if I won any money,
21:46I would bring my friends
21:47and make them eat their words.
21:48And let them do it?
21:49Yeah, yeah, yeah.
21:50100%.
21:50Well, just be careful.
21:52Make them sign a wafer.
21:53I will do that.
21:54Right, let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
21:56£72,000.
22:01Right.
22:02It's getting tricky now.
22:04Let's move on to the 35% question.
22:07Let's take a look at this.
22:11Which of these options links the following?
22:14Your time starts now.
22:15I'd only eat one of them.
22:25The drumsticks.
22:34Which of these options links the following?
22:36OK, your time is up.
22:48Right, let's see who got it right
22:49and how many people are out.
22:50OK, we lost eight of you.
23:09Let's have a look at the answer.
23:12It's D, car, carpet, cargo, carnation.
23:15Somebody who got it wrong is Sally Ship.
23:18Oh, Sally.
23:18Gutted.
23:19Gutted.
23:20What did you put, Sally?
23:21I put B for now.
23:23I have no idea why.
23:25Oh, duck pit, duck go, duck nation.
23:27Duck nation could be a word, couldn't it?
23:29Yeah.
23:30It's not, but it could be.
23:31It could be.
23:31What would you have done with the money, Sally?
23:33Oh, well, I absolutely love the film Pretty Woman.
23:35I'm obsessed with Pretty Woman.
23:36I even have the dress that she wore in the polo scene.
23:39No way.
23:39Yeah, well...
23:40You actually have the dress?
23:41Well, no, I got that from Sainsbury's.
23:43But it is the same...
23:44Oh, so you don't have the dress?
23:45It's the same dress.
23:45You have something that looks like the dress that she wore.
23:47It's not quite as good.
23:49So I would have gone to Rodeo Drive and acted out the scene
23:52when she goes into the shops and then we'll mean to her
23:54and then she goes back in with all her bags of shopping.
23:57Oh, but now you can't do it.
23:58And now I can't.
23:58It's heartbreaking.
23:59It is.
24:01Unlucky Sally.
24:01So let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
24:06£90,000.
24:08Right, it's time for a quick break.
24:09Well done to everyone's story again.
24:11We'll see you in a bit when someone here
24:12can win up to £100,000.
24:14Welcome back to the 1% Club.
24:28We've been asking questions which have been tested out
24:30on a cross-section of the British public.
24:32We've been whittling down the contestants here tonight
24:34on our left with 45 people with their lights still on.
24:37Now, as a reward,
24:38any contestant who hasn't played their pass
24:40and still has their £1,000 now has a choice.
24:43Play on for the big money in the prize pot
24:45or you can take your £1,000
24:46and leave the quiz right now.
24:48So first of all,
24:49let's see which players still have their £1,000.
24:53OK, so those of you with your lights on,
24:55you can take your money and leave the show if you want.
24:57Please make your decision now.
24:58Right, so one of you has decided to take the money.
25:14Stephen.
25:15Yeah.
25:15What was up?
25:17S*** myself.
25:18OK, well, that's a good reason to leave.
25:20Dead lucky that I've even got to this point.
25:22Maybe we can say that without the s*** yourself.
25:24Something that's more for television.
25:26The nerves got the better of me, Lee.
25:27LAUGHTER
25:29Was it a dilemma
25:30or did you always think if you get this far, you'll go?
25:32Mate, easiest grand I've ever earned on a Tuesday afternoon.
25:35No-brainer for me, this.
25:36Absolutely.
25:37What are you going to do with it, that £1,000?
25:38I'd like to enter the Red Bull soapbox race with my sons.
25:42Aw.
25:43That's much nicer than the first answer you gave.
25:45I know, right.
25:46Second one, though.
25:47Listen, well done, Stephen.
25:48You played well and you've got £1,000.
25:49Well done.
25:50CHEERING
25:50Right, so the rest of you have decided to play on.
25:54Let's see if this gamble will pay off
25:56and if any of you can go all the way and join the 1% club.
25:59And remember, if you've still got your £1,000,
26:01you can pay for a pass for the next question
26:03if you don't know the answer.
26:04OK, it's time for the 30% question.
26:09Let's have a look.
26:12If you begin at one of the corners of this square
26:14and move clockwise round the outer edge
26:17to finish in the centre,
26:18what nine-letter word can you spell?
26:20And your time starts now.
26:25If you're not sure which way clockwise is, good luck.
26:29LAUGHTER
26:29And you can use your pass.
26:44OK, your time is up.
26:55Let's see if you've got it right.
26:55Right, 11 people go out on that one.
27:18Let's have a look at the answer.
27:20It is searching, and there it is.
27:22So we lost 11 people, including Grace Smith.
27:27Hi, Lee.
27:27How are you?
27:29Not good, but, you know.
27:32Are you livid or are you zen?
27:34I'd say I'm pretty calm.
27:36OK.
27:36Yeah.
27:36What did you put?
27:38I think I put, like, one letter.
27:39It's just I gave up, but I didn't want to put nothing.
27:42So you just put any random letter.
27:43I think so.
27:44Well, that's fair enough.
27:45What do you do, Grace?
27:46I'm a criminology student at Leicester University.
27:49And what do you want to do when you leave?
27:50Probably criminologist, or maybe.
27:52You're on the right course.
27:54So criminologists might have a very intricate mind,
27:56really looking at the precise details of everything.
27:59Yeah?
27:59So what happened with this one, then?
28:01I don't even know.
28:02I just didn't see it.
28:04No, never mind.
28:04Listen, it's hard under the pressure and the lights.
28:06Well done for getting this far.
28:07Scott Walker.
28:08Yeah.
28:09What happened, Scott?
28:09What did you put?
28:10I just started running out of time,
28:12so I just picked a corner and started spelling the word.
28:15Just hope for the best.
28:17Do you know what that word was?
28:18I'll get you sick.
28:19I'll get you sick.
28:21And was there a part of you who thought,
28:23it just might be a word?
28:24Yeah, until I got to the, yeah, the seg.
28:27What do you do, Scott?
28:28I'm a physiotherapist.
28:29Okay.
28:29And what would you have done with the cash?
28:31One of two things.
28:32I would have either got a Ferrari or an orangutan.
28:35Well, it's always one of the two, isn't it?
28:37Yeah.
28:37Well, when I was a kid, I liked orangutans,
28:39probably because we were both ginger.
28:41And my best mate at school taught me...
28:44I'm not being harsh, but you were ginger.
28:46Yeah.
28:47Well, when I was a kid, we were both ginger.
28:49Yeah.
28:49And then my best mate at school told me
28:51that the Ferrari Tesseross was the best car ever.
28:54So just when I got older and my mum would be like,
28:56what do you want for Christmas, Scott?
28:57And I couldn't ever think of anything.
28:58I said, a Ferrari or an orangutan.
28:59That's perfect.
29:00So this was my opportunity.
29:01Listen, well done, Scott.
29:02You got this far, so don't worry.
29:03Let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
29:04Nothing, because everyone had used their pass.
29:09We are at the 25% stage, right?
29:14Here's the question.
29:17Jim is six foot three inches tall,
29:19and when his friend Erica stands on a stool,
29:22which is one foot tall,
29:23she becomes two inches taller than him.
29:26How tall is Erica?
29:27Your time starts now.
29:34Come on, we're all thinking it.
29:35Is there something going on between Jim and Erica?
29:52Don't forget that pass.
30:00OK, your time is up.
30:01Right, let's see who got it right.
30:04OK, we lost seven people there.
30:26Let's have a look at the answer.
30:28It's five foot five inches.
30:30Six foot three plus two inches is six foot five.
30:32Then take away one foot for the stool is five foot five inches.
30:36We've lost Alana Harris.
30:38Alana.
30:38I'm fuming.
30:40I'm what?
30:41Fuming.
30:42That's a strong Welsh accent you've got, though.
30:45Are you fuming?
30:46Yeah, fuming.
30:47You need to put subtitles on now.
30:48I need to what?
30:49Subtitles.
30:49I heard you.
30:52Why are you fuming?
30:53I put three inches first,
30:54and then I was like, no, that's wrong,
30:55so I went to delete it.
30:56How could she be three inches?
30:57I don't know.
30:59And I was just like, yeah, I'm out.
31:02Oh, never mind.
31:03Unlucky, Alana.
31:04So, somebody who got it right is Matthew Locke.
31:06Hello, Matthew.
31:07Hi, Lee.
31:07All right, Matthew, how are you doing?
31:09I'm all right, thanks.
31:09What made you apply?
31:11Well, my wife was pestering me
31:13and trying to persuade me,
31:14and for a while,
31:15and I was a bit reluctant,
31:17but then we were playing on Saturday night,
31:19and I got the 1% right,
31:21and the answer was one, one, one.
31:22OK.
31:22And we just got a puppy,
31:24and that night she woke me up barking,
31:25and I looked at the clock,
31:27and it was 11 minutes past one,
31:28so...
31:28So, you thought all the stars are aligning.
31:31Exactly that, yeah.
31:32OK, Sean Duffy's with us.
31:33Hello, Sean.
31:34How are we?
31:34You got it right, didn't you?
31:36Yeah.
31:36Yeah?
31:36What do you do, Sean,
31:37apart from the lead singer of Simply Red?
31:39I've had that a lot.
31:40Have you?
31:41I'm a civil servant.
31:42Are you?
31:43I am.
31:43Is anyone waiting to see how you do today?
31:45Yeah, my family and fiancé.
31:47Did they fancy your chances?
31:48I generally tend to do OK when we do it at home, so...
31:51Yeah?
31:52Feeling somewhat confident.
31:53And what would you do with the money?
31:55So, we're getting married next year
31:56and in the process of buying our first house, so...
31:58Oh, so money's too tight to mention.
32:00Pretty much.
32:01Yeah.
32:02Well, one person clapped,
32:03and I'll take it.
32:04Listen, well done, Sean.
32:06So, let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
32:10£92,000.
32:13We've got 26 people screwing the game
32:15and are down to the 20% question.
32:19Let's take a look.
32:21What is the minimum number of arrows you need to turn
32:25for all the arrows to be pointing in the same direction?
32:29And your time starts now.
32:30www. GifticallyFabee.com
32:42It doesn't mean you can type them and you can type them in.
32:49It doesn't mean if you can type them in the same direction.
32:51So, let's take a look.
32:53OK, time is up.
33:02Right, let's see who got it right.
33:23Right, we lost eight people there, let's have a look at the answer.
33:29It's ten, there they are in red.
33:31There are more arrows pointing up than any other direction,
33:34so you need to turn the others to match.
33:37So, there is only one person left in the room now with a pass,
33:41and that person is Alicia Koze.
33:44Alicia, how are you? I'm good, thanks.
33:47Well done. That's a hard question.
33:51You know what? She goes, oh, my God, I think it's nine,
33:54and I start panicking thinking I'm out and I should have used my pass
33:57because I was this close to using it.
33:59Please tell me that conversation happened after the question.
34:01Oh, yeah, yeah, after, after, after.
34:03That would be very awkward. Go with nine, go with nine.
34:05Shut up! I'm counting the arrows!
34:07And what would you do if you win the money tonight?
34:09Well, obviously, so I'm studying chemistry at university,
34:12but I'm also quite into art.
34:14I like painting and stuff in my free time,
34:16so I was kind of thinking maybe setting up like a paint shop business.
34:20If you were to mix, like, red with red, do you know what that was?
34:23I promise you that is the last one. That's definitely the last one.
34:26Listen, well done. You're the only one with a pass,
34:28so congratulations. Thank you.
34:29Right, let's see what that's done to the prize pot.
34:33We're on £98,000.
34:37We are getting close to the end now.
34:40It is time for the 15% question.
34:43Let's take a look.
34:45Sam's brother was his best man,
34:49and Lucy's sister was her maid of honour.
34:52In the seating plan from their wedding,
34:54how many people are sitting next to a blood relative?
34:57The time starts now.
34:59I give it a year.
35:03OK, your time is up.
35:31Let's see whose light is still on.
35:34MUSIC
35:35Right, we lost nine people there.
35:37Let's have a look at the answer.
35:39It's for the best man, the groom's mother, the bride's father, and the bride.
35:54Somebody who got it right is Aaliyah Townshend.
