00:18I think what happened on Thursday is a demonstration of the absolutely spectacular failure

00:26of the Labour and Conservative parties in their handling of Farage

00:31because they have both spent years cosying up to the Farage agenda

00:38and they have now come a cropper and they've endangered the pursuit of the values

00:46that I think many of us hold dear as a consequence of the folly of their actions.

00:52So I think Labour and the Tories have spent years cosying up to Farage

00:58and I have made it absolutely clear the only way to deal with Farage is to confront him

01:02which is what we'll do in Scotland and to take a different approach

01:06because I want to make sure that the decent values of Scotland

01:12which I cherish and treasure enormously are the values that prevail

01:18against the alien values that Nigel Farage is peddling

01:27and which the Conservative Party and the Labour Party

01:30by the folly of their approaches have enabled to happen.
