00:00Nigel Farage, welcome to GB News tonight. I'm your host, Martin Doyle.
00:05What do you make of tonight's vote? It seems we're talking about it here as something of a total farce.
00:13Two points to make, Martin, I think. One, very clear that this bill has been watered down beyond recognition
00:19and is virtually meaningless, and we'll see what comes back next week.
00:23But kind of the rebellion was still there, but it was stilted.
00:26But there's a bigger picture, I think. It's a quote from way back in the 60s when Macmillan's government was in trouble.
00:35Never again glad, confident morning.
00:38And I think that now applies to Starmer's leadership of the Labour Party and as Prime Minister of our country.
00:47U-turn after U-turn after U-turn. Denial of what he said in the speech on immigration.
00:52Oh, I regret it. I regret it. I hadn't read it. A self-admission that he's a puppet.
00:57And today, to avoid potentially a massive defeat in the House of Commons,
01:03a watering down of a bill that renders it almost meaningless, I think.
01:08So, I'm looking big picture. This government is in big trouble.
