00:00all right hey everyone my name is Vlad I'm from the band Extermination Dismemberment
00:13and I would like to welcome you to our tour kitchen tonight we're gonna prepare a dish
00:21called pasta a la tour which is a dish which in my opinion is perfect for touring which you can find
00:32out from its name so what we're gonna do is create a dish that I think is gonna feed a party of six
00:41people it creates the least number of dishes that you have to wash afterwards and everyone is pretty
00:47much fed for for a whole day for a whole day with it so let's get started first of all it all starts
00:55with an onion why is onion good because it gives your dish a good flavor and also it's good for
01:02health is good for your immunity it has all the good stuff all the good stuff so we slice the onion
01:08so we have noticed that onions in America are usually way too big so we end up using a half but
01:19this one is all right I find I found one that is all right so we might end up using the whole thing
01:24and go wild with it and you do not have to be too precise about it because it's gonna be it's gonna
01:36be well toasted in the end anyway as you can see I'm not an expert in this but you know you do what
01:44you gotta do on tour to feed your teammates to feed your band mates and to keep everyone happy on the
01:51road hey you probably also have a better knife at home than this but you know we make things work
02:00it's all about getting things down
02:06all right so this is pretty much prepared now we can start the oven
02:17hey hello by the way you can check this out we have fortified our kitchen if you notice we have a
02:24couple of extra details right here for example this bad boy what it does obviously it stops the kettle from
02:32falling over when you have to break suddenly and you know what it saved us a couple of times already
02:38and all this stuff you know it's all it's all done from experience mostly bad experience because when
02:44you don't have these things everything just falls over constantly constantly and this pretty much
02:50solves this problem all right let's start the fire okay first thing we add some oil generously generously
03:09and wait for it to heat up
03:10when it does heat up we will add the onions all right we can hear that the oil is ready and right
03:20now we are adding the onions yeah that's the sound you want to hear that's the sound
03:26good stuff all right and right now we're just mixing the onion uh in the oil what you need to do is you
03:44need to wait for it just to become transparent you'll understand how it looks uh when you see it
03:50it just a minute or two of this the onion is going to be ready while that is happening we can go and
04:04drench our chicken breasts let's go uh unfortunately we cannot do that
04:15we cannot drench our chicken breast into our sink because right now it's cold outside and we
04:19don't have any water so if we drench it there it's gonna stay there and it's gonna smell very bad
04:26solution you go to the restroom so once again you gotta do what you gotta do and this is how it's gone

04:40i'm really sorry about showing a toilet in a cooking video but touring man touring okay now we have to
04:46repeat this two more times so what is also very good about this dish is that every ingredient except
04:54maybe the onion is very interchangeable so for example right now we are using canned chicken breasts
05:00that you can find in every costco walmart whatever why we like them because they are already cooked and they
05:07when when you cook them even more
05:10they become these uh like little threads they fall apart into these little threads and it's very very
05:18soft very tasty so we love it very much
05:40so as i mentioned earlier the chicken breasts are already pretty much cooked so you don't have to
05:48worry about cooking them enough you just need to squash them into these little threads
05:56it's gonna be fine saves you time you know not having to cook the meat properly like
06:02for a long enough time just throw it there and it's good already
06:05and that way it also soaks in the juices from the onion so everybody gets um like how do you say
06:15all ingredients get married well you know
06:26all right now let's add some taste tomato sauce uh tomato tomato pasta whatever sauce you like
06:35once again everything goes everything works just fine we chose tomato sauce you can choose whatever you want
06:46and we just pour it all in
07:01two cans are perfect
07:05you know once again mix it all up real nicely
07:17and as you can see what we have in our pan is already very juicy so we can just go ahead and add
07:23our basil right into it
07:40as you can see it does not require any cooking skills at all so everyone can do it even your bass player
07:48all right now mix it all up
08:01just mixing it all up uh doesn't really matter how good you do it uh just mix it so the pasta
08:06gets soaked in the sauce and takes the flavor in it because right now we're gonna add the secret ingredient
08:14it makes everything better which is bone broth we picked one with a lot of protein because you know
08:21you need protein on tour
08:25shake it up a little bit
08:26shake it and add it all in
08:40it is important to add enough uh so there is enough for the pasta to soak in otherwise it's going to be too
08:48too dry
08:59mix it all up once again
09:05start to look good
09:12so how many actions was that add oil add onion add meat add sauce add pasta five very simple very
09:23simple now just drown it in the bone broth and we are pretty much there you know just add salt it's very easy to forget salt never forget your salt
09:32for this size of a pan i've already found that out you just need
09:42one spoon of salt
09:45add like that and it's gonna be perfect
09:47it's pretty much done all you just need to do then now is wait for like 25 to 30 minutes
09:59for it to be ready and it's gonna be good to go
10:04so this is how it looks halfway you just need to constantly stir it so it doesn't get stuck
10:09on the bottom and yeah it already smells good and it looks good so what you need to wait for
10:18is for it to become less of a watery dish and become more of a pasta so when the moist
10:24starts to get soaked in this is when you're almost ready
10:29so we're about three quarters of the way done you can really see it thickening up so
10:33we're almost there and it already looks delicious so this is our secret space where we keep our stuff
10:41here you can see a lot of tomato sauce a lot of bone broth so whatever whatever can be can remain
10:50good without uh being in the refrigerator just go straight here and yeah so we stuck up for the
10:56whole tour we just on day one we buy everything in costco which is very cost effective and so yeah we
11:03pretty much have a lot of stuff and it gets us through the whole one month tour almost for sure
11:08almost for sure and yeah we're we're pretty much stacked with food almost ready let me try it
11:16perfect perfect perfect okay we're ready to serve our dish so just so you know it took us 25 maybe 30
11:38minutes to do everything so just 30 minutes and i would say this is enough food for a touring body for a whole
11:46day so pretty much pretty time effective as well and that's what we like that's what we need on a tour
11:53okay let's go so we use paper dishes because nobody likes to wash dishes and we don't need to do it that
12:00way so let's serve our dish
12:04and it's also very soft which is very good for your stomach for your stomach because on tour you
12:17really don't want to risk uh getting you know getting bad stomach because uh that's where it's
12:23get where it gets you you want to be healthy and effective on a tour all right so this is how it looks
12:32and one final thing one final thing
12:40you gotta add some cheese you definitely gotta add some shredded cheddar
12:46right right on top
12:58all right so this is our dish uh last step is mix it up real nicely and there you go the cheese melts
13:08and it becomes so delicious and all your touring party all your band members will thank you for a dish
