00:36
Piyush is joining me live for more on this.
00:39
Piyush, could you give us more details about this meeting that's taking place at the Prime Minister's residence?
00:50
Well, Archit, as you are speaking, this meeting is underway and the sources are confirming that
00:54
this meeting is going on at 7 Local and Mark, which is the official residence of PM Narendra Modi.
01:00
Remember that this meeting has come on the very next day when Prime Minister yesterday met with Navy Chief.
01:09
And today he is meeting with Air Chief Marshal AP Singh.
01:12
So two back-to-back consecutive crucial meetings are taking place yesterday with Navy Chief,
01:18
today with Air Chief Marshal AP Singh.
01:21
Remember that a couple of days back, Prime Minister also held a meeting with Rajna Singh,
01:26
in which CDS and all armed chiefs were present.
01:30
And it was made it very clear that India is going to give a decisive, firm and decisive response
01:36
to the terror attack which was carried out by Pakistan.
01:41
Remember that in the last few days, Prime Minister has also made it very, very clear
01:46
that the terror will not go unpunished.
01:49
All the terrorists will be tracked, hunted and they will be punished.
01:54
Their handlets will also be taken to the task.
01:57
So amidst these creating tensions, as you are speaking, the meeting is underway between
02:01
Air Chief Marshal AP Singh and PM Narendra Modi at 7 Local and Mark.
02:05
And this meeting is coming at a time when a series of meetings are being chaired by PM Narendra Modi.
02:10
Remember that since the Pahlkamp terror attack, Prime Minister has chaired two Cabinet Committee
02:16
on Security meetings.
02:17
And a couple of days back, Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs, Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs
02:23
was also chaired.
02:23
And in each and every meeting, one message has been given clearly that, yes, we are going
02:30
to, you know, deal with the terror in a firm and decisive manner.
02:34
During the meeting with Rajnat Singh, CDS and all the constituents of our armed forces, it
02:45
was made it very clear that the mode and how the attack will be carried out against Pakistan,
02:51
that has been left to the security forces.
02:53
So we'll have to see what comes out of this meeting.
02:56
But as we are speaking, this meeting is underway and all the preparedness are being looked
03:00
into before even, you know, taking out the strongest possible action against the terror
03:05
activities, those are being carried out by Pakistan.
03:08
Fush, the other thing that I want to know from you is that the Prime Minister continues to
03:15
maintain a very close watch on the operations and is taking the lead in terms of India's
03:21
strike back at terror is concerned.
03:30
Well, one thing absolutely clear, Harshit, that India will hit back at Pakistan and form
03:36
and decisive action will be taken.
03:38
And for that, all preparedness are being done.
03:41
Prime Minister has made it very clear in bold and capital letters that, yes, we will track
03:46
and punish each and every terrorist.
03:49
And for once and for all, the actions will be taken.
03:53
Strongest possible actions will be taken.
03:55
And for that, we are seeing how a series of meetings are being chaired by the Prime Minister.
03:59
Not only, you know, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is saying, but there are different parts
04:05
of the government, all the NDA allies, each and everyone is speaking in one word.
04:09
In fact, opposition has also extended its complete support to the government as far as handling
04:15
the terror is concerned.
04:16
So, as we are speaking, the meeting is underway between Air Chief Marshal and PM Narendra Modi
04:20
at 7 Lok Kalyan Magh.
04:22
And this meeting has come on the very next day when Prime Minister held meeting with Navy
04:26
Chief.
04:27
We'll have to see when this attack is carried out, what kind of actions the government is
04:31
going to take up and what kind of lesson is being taught to Pakistan.
04:36
Appreciate you joining us, Piyush, and sharing those inputs with us.
