After settling for a bronze finish in UAAP Season 86, DLSU is now headed to the Finals after defeating UST in four sets, 25-22, 11-25, 21-25, 21-25, in the semifinals of the UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball tournament on Saturday, May 3, at the Araneta Coliseum.
DLSU displayed its blocking specialty after mounting 11 blocks, while UST only made two.
Angel Canino made 19 points to lead the scoring for the Lady Spikers, while Shevana Laput and Amie Provido added 11 markers each.
