NECA Halloween 6 The Curse Of Michael Myers Ultimate Michael Myers Figure

00:00sooner or later they should have known he'd be back it was written in the stars
00:04here's your look at the brand new neka halloween six the curse of michael myers ultimate michael
00:30from the sixth installment of the halloween movie series the curse of michael myers
00:43the iconic serial killer is back and ready to wreak havoc on haddonfield figure includes
00:48interchangeable heads removed mask multiple interchangeable hands axe machete crowbar
00:52kitchen knives bag of runes sacrificial candles bundle of syringes and pumpkin i didn't really
00:58need much convincing from the man in black to pick up michael myers from halloween six not only is it
01:02one of my favorite looks that the killer but also it makes for a pretty cool looking figure as well
01:06before we get a closer look at michael myers and get down to all the decrepit details
01:10we'll take the first the tape measure of course and see how tall the figure stands michael myers the
01:15shape is standing at seven and a quarter inches in height working out though to a figure that's
01:19about 18 centimeters tall not the first michael from neka no but is technically the first figure
01:24that we've gotten from the thorn trilogy neka's committed more of their time to release figures
01:28from the newest trilogy blumhouse whether you like it or not but we really haven't gotten
01:32anything from the thorn trilogy seeing as well that this is also the michael myers using the
01:36george p wilbur body would be safe to say as well that they could probably even get mileage out of
01:40this mold and maybe release a michael myers from halloween 4 wishful thinking in the meantime though
01:46here's what the figure looks like with the only other figure that's canon technically this is from
01:50the halloween 2 official michael myers i know technically we did get ourselves a couple other michael
01:55myers from that film a standalone ultimate release but this was the one that actually got paired with
02:00dr sam loomis speaking though of the trilogy here's what the figure looked like book to end on both
02:04sides the halloween 2018 michael myers and the one from halloween ends again while i'm not a big fan
02:11of the trilogy it's certainly made for interesting looking michael myers figures i'm looking now looking
02:15forward to adding the halloween 6 michael myers to my current growing collection speaking though of
02:20adding boy have they added quite a lot of accessories with this figure's release first the figure does
02:24come include with a strode realty sign that we see outside the strode of excuse me outside the
02:29myers household of course john's going out there really upset by the fact that the kids are not
02:33only just defacing the sign although it really hasn't been defaced yet it still says sold on the
02:38front that we know of course the property has been sold but on the front though of that we we see right
02:42away at the beginning of the film that they take a kind of placard piece here that looks like the
02:46shape and they basically just put it in front of the sign sort of similar to that john goes out irate
02:51knocking this over and calling those pesky kids the thing i first of all like about both these
02:56materials is that they chose to do these in plastic this was the one i was kind of the most worried
03:00about i was thinking oh no they're going to do this in paper and i have had some experiences in
03:04the past i know some people really like if you're going to be having something in the film made of
03:08cardboard make something for the figure as well in that same material the problem with that though is
03:12that over time these things get bent they get broken they get ripped doing this though in plastic
03:17makes a whole lot more sense so both the strode realty sign and also the michael myers shape kind
03:23of little placard piece both of them are actually made of plastic on the back though of the standee
03:28you can see that there's a little lip of plastic here i do actually like that they went as far to
03:33go in there and look make it look like this thing was being made from scratch so if they had cut this
03:37out with cardboard i guess this would be maybe the part that was starting to get a little loose
03:41or maybe they just wanted to tape this and maybe maybe reinforce it a little bit but to basically take
03:45this little little lip of plastic and you lip it over top of the sign just like that i think they
03:51actually in the in the movie they have it a little bit further forward over so you can actually still
03:55make it says sold it covers more really the sign the only thing that also kind of concerns me though
03:59is that being that the sign is painted here in white and at the back of this is brown you probably
04:04already see where this is going if this is going over top of the sign like that i i don't know it may
04:09not but i wonder if that's going to start to either scrape the paint off the white or it's going to
04:12scrape some of the paint off the brown do you maybe worry too much reviewer maybe i do anyways
04:16we'll just put that right over there yeah he is he is coming that figure does also come include with
04:22quite a lot of accessories now where do we really want to begin okay so let's start with the axe
04:28let's start with the axe uh the axe that we see poor deborah road deborah strode not only gets
04:34berated by her husband then of course she gets killed outside hanging laundry i believe this is the
04:39axe though that michael myers uses for that i i feel though like in the movie it's a little bit
04:43shinier than what we actually get here they've really aged the axe to make it look like it's old
04:47it does fit into his hands although to be fair though he's not gonna be doing much of any hand
04:51holding at all just because these aren't really the proper hands do that yes kind of more like
04:55mauling hands strangling the nurse uh or also of course at the beginning of the movie if you
05:01watched well there's the theatrical and then there's the producer's cut but if you like the way he
05:06dispenses jamie at the very beginning sticks her down on the farming uh you know farming machinery
05:11and basically just grinds her up what are we talking about here anyways though he basically
05:15does come include the axe the axe does fit into his hands oh the mauling hands that's why it reminded
05:20me of the way he killed jamie which i gotta say is much a much a better kill of jamie than the way
05:24that she actually dies in the producer's cut uh let me know down below in the comment section you
05:28actually like the producer's cut or you like the theatrical anyways though the figure does also
05:32come included with the crowbar i mean the crowbar is okay if i was to kind of put it to a list if i
05:38had say two lists lists of things that belonged i feel with this figure and things that i think could
05:43have just been done away with altogether i think the crowbar probably would have not made to the list
05:47this list but rather i think it would have gone to this one instead i mean the crowbar is okay i don't
05:51know if i would ever really think to myself you know michael myers really needs to have himself a crowbar
05:55despite my feelings though you can see that there's a little bit of blood on the end of it
05:59there's a little bit of brushed away metal there exposed metal on the top here and silver
06:04and again that fits into his hands so you keep talking about all these hands what about these
06:08hands okay all right fine so again like he already has mauling onto the farming machinery i mean what
06:14does that thing actually even do it grinds up grinds up the ground it was grinding up a lot more than
06:19just the ground michael myers does yes coming clear with a couple of gripping hands i'd say a couple
06:24he actually comes quite a lot more he comes with hands really dedicated for all the weapons to of
06:29course wield so he has this hand he has one a little bit more smaller of a grip in all the
06:33cases though i hopefully you can see that he does have still the scarring you're not going to be able
06:37to make out really any thorn tattoo i mean obviously his sleeves are down for that but at least they went
06:42as far to give him the scarred hands now theoretically too even though we really don't have the proper
06:48head for this if you happen to have yourself a custom face where it had a little fried egg scar on the
06:53side of lumus's face ah technically though you could really have swapped out these hands and give
06:59him the scarred hands i mean obviously it's still going to give him a very youthful looking face but
07:04that's always an option as well figure does also have carrying on to that a couple more gripping
07:09hands it's just again of a different sized grip and then he also comes included with this hand that
07:13actually kind of looks like he should be holding kind of more of a gun just the way it's posed i think
07:18it's actually more designed for the machete the machete does fit into his hand fits actually quite
07:23well too i guess technically you could also take the axe slide it in there also as well i guess
07:28while we're also holding this too the figure does come included with i think the the blade that he
07:32pulls inside the the hospital hallway just before he walks into the room and just dispenses all i mean
07:37it's it's such a fun film i know a lot of people really like the producer's cut because it kind of
07:41sticks more to the original theme of halloween but i like that heavy kind of paste metal didn't
07:47didn't as michael myers of course is killing all the killing all the poor doctors the only thing i
07:52would though say is to go back and look at the scene again i don't know if the handle was actually
07:56first of all a handle is a lot wider than this i don't think though it has a brown handle i think
08:01like all of this sterile and clean before of course he doesn't make it as sterile and clean i think all
08:06of it actually is silver you can see there's a little bit of there's a little bit stop that there's a
08:11little bit of blood on the bottom of the blade but i think though the handle is supposed to be more
08:15all silver as opposed to brown unless he's using a blade in another part of the movie but i think
08:20this is the one that he uses in the hallway uh the figure does also come include with a couple of
08:23knives you know again like if i was to go if i was to pull out my checklist things that come with
08:29the figure things that really didn't need to be if i was to look at these knives don't tell me that
08:33you would put the knives in the category of the figure doesn't really need to have both doesn't need
08:37to have either of them well i would say he has he should have really at least one knife but really
08:42when you look at the lay of the land and you look at these blades that blades themselves look very
08:46similar the handles look also very similar it would then make me lead to believe then i would
08:51probably say that the knives are maybe identical in in molding maybe maybe one's a little bit smaller
08:56than the other but i would put one of these on this list here i take this one though and i would put
09:02it on the list of things that didn't need to belong to the figure so right away i'm saving the
09:06plastic on the blade an extra knife i'm saving i feel the plastic on the crowbar i don't think that
09:10either of these needed to belong with the figure and whatever your feelings may be about the
09:16producer's cut i probably would have also put this on the list of things that didn't need to belong
09:19the figure does come in clear with of course the runes the stones oh tommy of course in the
09:25producer's cut dispenses of michael myers in the most of ridiculous of ways basically just places the
09:31stones in a circular formation takes his hand slices it why do they always have to kind of cut on the
09:35interior of the palm you know up here is just a serviceable enough blood you could keep cutting on your
09:40finger you could cut on that why are we even talking about this i don't feel like ever should
09:44i if i ever want to make a sacrificial blood ritual i'm never going to cut the inside of my palm because
09:48i mean once i've given the sacrificial blood that's still going to hurt every single time i shower every
09:54single time especially if i'm going to use the hand that i use the right with that's going to be an
09:58ouch every single time i close this anyways he basically just smears his blood michael myers walks into
10:04this and i think he says sanhane even though i know that's not really the way that pronounces the
10:08name but yeah michael myers is frozen stiff frozen stiff till dr wind comes over and then basically
10:13says michael why michael what have they done to you i don't know if i really like the idea that
10:18they included the stones i like that it's a reference at least to the producer's cut but i you know again
10:22i'd probably put it over here on the list of things that didn't need to belong with the plastic that i've
10:27now saved the company yeah what what plastic is this guy behind the camera really what's he even
10:31talking about i would have taken all of this plastic mushed it together and i probably would have given the
10:37figure instead the little wrapped up baby that's just me that's what i would have done i would have
10:41given him the baby wrapping and swaddling clothes who's gonna swaddle this child that's a reference
10:47to four christmases okay so some of the things i do actually like that the figure comes included with
10:51he comes up with the comes with the bunched up syringes tommy of course uses this he lunges this
10:57into michael myers's body only slows him down temporarily and then just bludgeons him surprisingly
11:01though enough he doesn't come include with the pipe but i guess if they were to release a paul rudd would
11:05they ever release a paul rudd tommy probably not if they released the paul rudd tommy with
11:10a horrible accent and all they probably could have given him then the pipe and then this probably
11:13would belong a little bit better with him there's not really a place on michael myers by the way you
11:17could stab this into his body it doesn't go into his neck i guess i think in the film it goes into
11:22his neck but there's not really a place there's no entryway into the figure's head he does also come
11:26include some sacrificial candles yes i don't know again whether you like the whole idea of them being
11:33part of part of a cult or not i like the cult aspect when it's part of the theatrical cut
11:37i think they get a little bit more out of hand when it comes to the producer's cut and they also
11:41course connect michael myers a little bit more to the baby which i think is a big no-no anyways you
11:47get yourself a bunch of candles they're all lit don't probably put your finger over top of that
11:50that's just going to burn your skin gets a couple of those as a side note though i do appreciate that
11:55they actually colored the tops of the candles in the lighter yellow so it actually does make it look
12:00like the candles are illuminating the the light the lit the flames are actually illuminating the
12:04candles then the figure does also come to clue the pumpkin that i think we see at the very end of
12:09the film does it blow up the candle i think it does uh this doesn't illuminate at all even though
12:14like looking at the top it sort of suggests the idea you'd be able to press this and this would
12:17illuminate but it does nothing it illumine it illuminates only in the sense that you got to use
12:21your imagination the candle as you can see is already lit inside i i certainly though hope that as
12:27we get more michael myers fingers crossed fingers crossed i think though in school they would always
12:31say if you double cross your fingers you're canceling each other out so maybe i'm only going
12:35to cross the one i hope though that we're going to get some future michael myers figures and that
12:38each of them come with their respected pumpkins the pumpkin is though a little on the darker side i
12:43would have preferred if it was a little bit more of a brighter fresher more healthier looking pumpkin
12:47not near the end of halloween when these things start to sag and start just starting to ooze
12:51weird looking liquids the figure does also come in clear with a couple of heads now technically one
12:57of the heads isn't really a head that he's going to wear this is the michael myers mask that we see
13:01sitting on the floor it's not really much you can really do with it i mean i do think that at least
13:06it looks good from the sense that both sides are sculpted i mean really for this being the side
13:11would this be the side that's going to be laying down or this side let's just assume that it's this
13:15side right here it's the flatter of the two technically they could have so phoned it in and just made
13:19this completely a bit of flat plastic and no one would be the wiser but the fact that they actually
13:23molded it on both sides and finished it on both sides i appreciate that certainly do even though
13:29again i'm probably never going to be explaining with the figure finally michael myers this whole
13:33time of while having this strode realty sign sitting in the front center the figure does also
13:37come included with the bruised battered and otherwise looking not all that healthy michael of course he
13:43does have the goo it's weird sort of stuff that was coming out of all this the sores and all the
13:48orifices in his body well not technically all the orifices at least from the front of his face
13:51i do love this i love this head sculpt although you know to be fair i don't think i've ever going to
13:57see myself ever displaying it with him for the head that he has it's serviceable enough i don't feel
14:01the need i'm going to be swapping things out to show you guys though the differences between the two
14:05the heads look like they are identical with one another i don't think they've really changed all
14:09that much other than just the deco i'm sure many people probably just end up displaying the figure
14:14with this but again you can swap with the head sculpt with this one we'll maybe do that more in a
14:18second getting now a closer look finally boy this guy's been long-winded getting closer look at now
14:23michael myers one of my favorite all-time masks oh boy curse of michael myers h2o michael myers mask
14:29are two of some of my favorites probably top three and of course i have to throw in there the 78 you
14:33can't beat the classic but love the look of the cult love the look of curse of michael myers's mask
14:38we get a little bit of this also at the beginning of h2o they had planned to use this mask and then
14:45decided to scrap it it's one of the many abandoned masks that that movie actually has including a
14:49very god-awful looking cg mask but anyways this is certainly a classic look to michael myers
14:55one thing i really i feel like it's one of the scarier looking myers masks now this is based at
15:01least on his frame i would imagine this is george p wilber that's underneath the suit right now
15:05technically there really was another person that did play the shape that was a michael learner and
15:10that was near the end of the film when they did a lot of the reshoots he was a much leaner looking
15:13michael he moved a lot faster i think learner though moved faster and better than wilbur but
15:19wilbur certainly did have a presence especially when he's going into the bus stop station and he's
15:23walking down the stairs the head sculpt again looks really good the only thing i would offer up from
15:28criticisms is probably like i feel like his hair is a little too high he's got more of a receding
15:33hairline than what i really would have liked i probably would have maybe brought that down a little
15:37bit i've seen some people actually customize the hair and just add a little bit more lift i also would
15:42really appreciate if they could have spiked the hair a little bit more he certainly does have
15:45spikier hair in the film but i do like that they've got the seam on the back the opening for how he would
15:50put on the mask if the mask is good and chalky white at least from what we have for neka so far
15:55i would say certainly say this is my favorite michael myers so if i was to ever do an ultimate michael
15:59myers from neka's i probably would put this guy easily number one easily the jumper boiler of course
16:05suit that he's having is a little bit more in the gray color if you compare it say for example with
16:09warlocks it's a completely different build of body uh the arms technically though to be fair look to
16:15be like they're sharing maybe the similar molds uh again like if you're looking at kind of the
16:19placement of the wrinkles oh maybe not maybe not they are a little bit different from one another
16:23wilbur certainly does have a stockier build of body i mean that's probably one of the reasons why they
16:27enlisted the help of a michael vernon to kind of go back for the research i know a lot of people
16:32thought they looked a little stocky but you know again like i'm sure they probably could use this body
16:36again i know he's a little more shouldery in halloween four but considering though it's wilbur
16:41anyways why not just use this body again for halloween fours michael myers they may have to
16:45maybe tool the collar just a little bit but i think like the stockiness the bulkiness could probably
16:50retain between the two figures why are you doing that the color looks good though again down below
16:54he's got himself his footwear so we know at the end of the producer's cut hey wait a minute that's not
16:58the man in the black the man in black actually is not wearing those shoes at all then we of course know
17:02we all kind of already know anyways that that was michael myers i think also with the silhouettes
17:07of the man in black is returning as he's turning his head from the side profile am i the only one
17:12that didn't think that looked like michael at all it clearly looked like win again anyways though i
17:17still prefer to have the theatrical cut be the one i'm as my annual watch now for the figures
17:22articulation after all that after all that you can see how passionate i am talking about michael myers
17:27for the figures articulation before we kind of beeline it back to the damaged head head's gonna be on him
17:32first of all a ball joint i realize now though i don't have the head all the way on there
17:36now you could heat this up with hot water i probably should have maybe done that this is obviously the
17:41og head when you get this guy the packaging this is then the alternate head sculpt when you you choose
17:46to change that out head's gonna be though again on a ball joint it's gonna move up and down it's
17:49gonna move back and forth i don't have that all the way on there the figures arms though rotate all the
17:55way around they're gonna squeak squeak and creak you can also bring the arms out at 90 degrees that's on
18:00both sides yeah figure does have a double hinge on the elbow not really the first time we've gotten
18:05this in fact actually dick warlock's michael also had a double hinge in the elbow and i think really
18:09yeah even the new blumhouse trilogy michaels have all had double hinges in their elbows he's already
18:15certainly got already beat out both i think freddie and also jason vorhees only really had single
18:20hinges in his elbows so he's got the double hinge that's good to see the figure of course swivels in the
18:25hands all the way around you can hinge them back and forth no real upper torso ball joint i mean like
18:29or nothing really that kind of gives you the idea that you'd be able to move something underneath the
18:33coveralls i mean it moves just only a little bit but not really much much to say that there's any
18:38posability points oh there goes his head you know what seeing is his head did pop off that's basically
18:44what the ball joint would look like underneath let's just go ahead and get the damaged head on there
18:47put a little bit of pressure a little bit of pressure pressure he says as he he's exerting
18:52exerting quite a lot of pressure you can see how it's indenting into my skin
18:55legs do split out that's as far as michael's legs will go not that you'd ever probably going to be
19:01displaying the figure that way anyways the legs go yeah forward and you can also move them back as
19:05well a swivel at the top of the thigh and a good generous swivel too the figure does have a single
19:09hinge in the knee allows the lower leg to rotate back and forth and of course you've got a good
19:13generous ball joint allowing the legs of course the feet to move up and down this way and an ankle
19:18pivot as well the figure does also have peg holes on the bottoms of his feet as well that's a good
19:23looking michael i'm so glad i finally got the chance to pick this guy up uh it's one of those
19:27cases again where i had to kind of shop around i mean next to no luck at all finding this guy in
19:32local wild i had to order this one online i can't really remember now whereabouts i maybe it was it
19:38was ebay yeah it was ebay and i think when it was all in when it was all said and done i probably spent
19:42a good hundred dollars for this guy just because again like he i think he was selling for 60 maybe just
19:47a little bit more than that then on top of that of course you had the shipping costs the brokerage
19:51all the fun things that go along with being a canadian collector in the end though i got myself
19:56one of the best if not the best michael myers figures you know up to that point we really
20:00haven't gotten a lot of good helpings of michael's obviously we only have really the we have the
20:05trilogy but not the trilogy that i really would have wanted the blumhouse one the three films we've
20:10got michael myers from each of those films yet though finally we are getting something at least
20:14from the original canon whether you like the canon direction or not i know a lot of people don't
20:18really like the thorn trilogy keep in mind that thorn trilogy also starts with halloween for the
20:22return of michael myers which is still number one top favorite halloween film in in at least my
20:27favorites my favorite list of hopefully again like seeing that this is off after all using george p
20:33wilbur's body it doesn't look at all like a michael learner's because michael learner's body was a lot
20:37thinner a lot leaner and really like the cover all sat a lot bagger on his body being that this is
20:42wilbur's body could that maybe be a perhaps a tease that michael michael myers may make another
20:47appearance not that this is technically the return well i guess it technically is really the return
20:51of michael myers but i do hope that they go back at least two films use this body again and release
20:56a return of michael myers considering really it's the same stunt actor playing both roles you know
21:01if tommy really thinks that that's going to slow down michael it isn't this is going to really make
21:05him angrier figured though if i was going to be wrapping up this review with the damaged mask i would
21:09also put the syringes in his hand looking like he's just pulled them out the side of his neck i think he
21:14either puts it in his neck or he puts it in the back of his shoulders they figure i've also got
21:17displayed with that surgical blade what doctor in their right mind is going to be using a blade like
21:22that and as well can i just say too we all kind of think that michael is part of the team but i would
21:27not at all be leaving sharp weapons like that blunt objects of destruction sitting just on a table
21:33outside of a door where michael myers is just free to roam up and down the hallways bad idea
21:39one thing a bit of a bad idea or i guess not so much necessarily is the fact that they did
21:44technically recast michael myers more at the beginning of the movie and through the majority
21:48of the movie of course we get george p wilber coming back to reprise his role having already
21:52done the role really well in halloween for the return of michael myers some though including the
21:57studio didn't really like the look of michael thinking that he was a little too full in the
22:01figure so they said instead recast stuntman a michael learner who then basically provided all the role
22:07of michael myers near the end of the film when of course he's chasing down the doctors he's
22:10bludgeoning the doctors in the surgical room all of that really is learner though the body though
22:16clearly as we're looking at the ultimate release of him isn't so much using learner's leaner body
22:20it's using full-framed george wilber's i do love the look of this michael myers clearly though
22:25one of my i'm not even gonna say one of my favorites it is my favorite michael myers we've gotten
22:29from neca i'd like to really end that though with a dot dot dot and let's hope that we get more
22:35unfortunately though we don't really again know what the licenses are going to be for the comes
22:38to figure company this much like pamela vorhees which we did look at earlier this week came out
22:44of nowhere one day we didn't have any announcements of a michael myers from halloween six and then the
22:49next day michael myers was here he came back well he's coming he's coming based at least on the sign
22:55here uh finally i had the chance to get this guy for myself i at least i didn't have to wait as long
22:59as i did i ended up ordering this one from ebay yes i know i paid a little bit more probably than i
23:03need to pay i mean you could say well hey buddy i found these michael myers as far as the eye can
23:08see first of all i think you're probably fibbing a bit for seeing as far as the eye can see i think
23:13you're exaggerating that's like a thousand firefighters all showing up for a fire what are
23:17we all doing here who needed a thousand of us here that's a dane coke joke by the way but yeah i mean
23:24you know some people probably would have been able to easily say that they found this guy in the wild
23:27i haven't had as much of that ease so unfortunately i had to order this guy online and i'm so glad that
23:32i did what do you guys think of halloween sixes michael myers from the curse of michael myers
23:37first of all do you like the film i know it's really one of those divided films some people
23:41like the idea that it has that punk rock kind of heavy metal theme i know there's also the
23:46producer's cut that kind of tones that back a bit so if you kind of like the more traditional
23:49halloween themes the producer cuts better probably a better fit for you although it has the runestones
23:54i can't believe they included the runestones with this figure really though the runestones the crowbar
23:59and an extra knife i don't think he really needs to have two pretty much of the exact same knife
24:03all that plastic i think instead could have been better used i feel at least to have a wrapped up
24:08baby in swaddling clothes who's gonna swaddle this child uh let me if you guys did certainly enjoy this
24:15video boy we've gone off on tangents galore in this video but if you certainly did enjoy the one you just
