Robredo backs bid of late Rep. Edcel Lagman's daughter for House seat
Former vice president Leni Robredo endorses the candidacy of Mayor Krisel Lagman as the congressional candidate in the 1st District of Albay following her remarkable accomplishments and good governance, addressing malnutrition problems, education, environmental programs, among others. Lagman is running against Ako Bicol Partylist lawmaker Angelo Bongalon. Before becoming a partylist lawmaker, Bongalon was honed and trained by the late Rep. Edcel Lagman as the young leader of Albay and served as the local councilman in Tabaco City under the party of the Lagmans.
