Health Minister: GP consultation fee review to be finalised within a month

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad has given his assurance that the review of consultation fees for private general practitioners (GPs) will be completed within a month.  Speaking to reporters on Saturday (May 3), Dr Dzulkefly also said the ministry would not stop GPs from marching to the Prime Minister’s Office this coming Tuesday to protest against a policy requiring private medical centres to display medication prices, saying that such action falls within their rights.
