00:09Mr. Speaker, this administration's deportation process has been sloppy and reckless since day one.

00:15No due process and no transparency.

00:18Just families being illegally ripped apart and left to fend for themselves.

00:22In severe instances, innocent people have actually died, like Marie Blaise.

00:27She was a 44-year-old Haitian woman who was in ICE custody in Pompano.

00:33Marie had been complaining about chest pain for hours.

00:36They gave her some pills and told her to go lie down.

00:39Unfortunately, Marie never woke up.

00:42Her loved ones deserve answers.

00:44They deserve accountability, like so many immigrant families who have their loved ones missing and who are hurt.

00:51These conditions at the ICE facilities are inhumane and unsanitary.

00:55Immigrants are being treated without basic dignity and being denied medical care.

01:01I'm calling for a full, transparent investigation into Marie's death.

01:06And I will be visiting the Broward Transitional Center very shortly.

01:10It is this neglect and cruelty that is really hurting our American families who are being even deported at this moment.
