Makabayan bloc lawmakers on Friday, May 2, criticized President Marcos' latest snub of Filipino workers' demands for a significant wage increase during his Labor Day speech.

In his third year celebrating Labor Day as the Chief Executive, Marcos, according to the militant solons, "still has no concrete plans about hunger and poverty of the workers".
