00:00Jehoshaphat wasn't a perfect man, but he was a good king.
00:07Scripture says, The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the ways of his father David
00:13before him. King David was the mark for the kings of Israel and Judah because he chased after God
00:19with all his heart and sought to please him in everything. Jehoshaphat did too. So, when God
00:26promised to give his people victory in battle over the enemies that were on their doorstep,
00:31King Jehoshaphat didn't wait. He began the praise party while he was on the way to battle.
00:38Here's what's amazing, the Bible tells us. As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set
00:45ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were
00:51defeated. Their worship was the trigger that released the victory. Yes, God did it all. It
00:57was a miracle. But God used the faith of his people, expressed in their praise, to accomplish it.
01:04When we worship God, when things are hard, something happens in our hearts. Our faith
01:10gets strengthened. If you feel stuck, or if you're in the waiting room on a prayer request,
01:15praise and watch as your heart shifts to strength.
