00:00We'll start in Detroit with the Knicks and the Pistons.

00:03Of course, Cade Cunningham has been out to a great playoff start.

00:06He's averaging 25-plus points, 8-plus boards, 8-plus dimes in his first five playoff games.

00:12Only Oscar Robertson and Luka have done that in their history,

00:16first five career playoff games.

00:18I saw Beasley say yesterday, too, that the Pistons have been winning

00:22without him and Hardaway hitting shots.

00:24He's right about that.

00:25But they're about to catch fire.

00:27Well, will they catch fire tonight?

00:28Tonight, Pistons minus 1-1⁄2, 2-14-1⁄2 is the total.

00:35You know, I got to tell you, I'm going Rogie Vashon here.

00:41They won both games there.

00:43And the Pistons haven't won a game there in the playoffs since, like, 08.

00:48They just, what is it, nine straight they've lost at home?

00:53You know, they've proven they can't win there.

00:56I mean, I'm sure they'll probably burn me tonight and win, but I'm going Knicks.

01:02And I think all they need to be in this game is a good start.

01:06Because what they did in those games in Detroit was they started well.

01:10I thought that last game in the Garden, Kat was not the big bodega at all.

01:18He was not even the little bodega.

01:21And I thought that Brunson had a horrible game.

01:25We're used to Brunson going 30-plus, all right?

01:28So when he's going to go 16, you're dead in the water.

01:32So what they need tonight is all hands on deck from the jump to come out and take this thing and run with it.

01:40And belly to belly, they have to be the ones controlling everything, tempo, the lead, everything.

01:49They have to get on the boards.

01:51And I'll tell you another thing they've got to do, and I know this sounds crazy.

01:54I don't know how they're going to do it.

01:55They've got to keep this Mitchell Robinson from being on that foul line.

02:00Because every time he's out there, Detroit puts him on the line, he misses.

02:04He's awful.

02:06And I mean, if it comes down to it, I can't have him on the floor in the fourth quarter.

02:11I know no one will agree with that, but Christ, can Ananobi get a rebound?

02:16He's a great defender.

02:18And Hart's a great rebounder for a 6'5 guy.

02:21Can somebody else get an effing rebound besides Mitchell Robinson, who gets fouled?

02:26He hasn't hit a free throw in five months.

02:30I know he's hit a couple free throws, but he misses most of them.

02:33And so a majority is all I need to know is he sucks.

02:38He is not a scorer at all.

02:42He is a shot-altering, blocking defender and rebounder.

02:46That's all he does.

02:48He does nothing.

02:49Like, he's the guy that, you know, teams coach to beat you by going against him.

02:58Let him have the ball.

02:59Because he can't shoot.

03:01He can't shoot free throws.

03:02He can't do anything.

03:03They have to be smarter tonight with that guy.

03:06The other night, that guy was going to the line like 10 times.

03:10Christ, that's exactly what the Pistons wanted.

03:15I'm going to go with you here because I was thinking about this last night.

03:20The Knicks are up 3-2 in this series, and it feels like they haven't played, like, one complete game yet in the series.

03:29Like, it feels like they're the better team, right?

03:32And they haven't played a cover-to-cover good game, and yet they're up 3-2.

03:37That tells me that they are a lot better overall than the Pistons are.

03:42And I think tonight's the night where they get their closest complete game on the road, and they get it done.

03:48I think the Knicks are going to win tonight, too.

03:49I think it would also behoove them to guard, you know, Beasley and Hardaway and not let them get free to shoot open-range threes.

04:02Because if you're just going to let them chuck and not guard them, they're going to knock them down.

04:06At some point, they're going to fall.

04:08So, I played in a game last night.

04:11This guy was shooting threes.

04:13We were up 15, 20, and the guy started knocking down three bombs.

04:16We weren't guarding him.

04:18Like, Christ almighty.

04:19It's like shooting a free throw if you have a pure shooter.

04:22This kid played at Sac State.

04:23He played D1 basketball.

04:24He can shoot.

04:25You're not going to guard him?

04:27Like, guard Hardaway.

04:31Have a hand in their face.

04:33Don't foul him.

04:34But get up in their shot.

04:38And I guarantee you that Knicks will win.

04:40But if you're just going to let them shoot open threes and let Cade Cunningham shoot, like, eight-foot floaters, they're in trouble.

04:47They will be in trouble indeed.

04:53Duran, Jalen Duran, under 27.5 points.

04:56Bridges over 2.5 assists.

05:04And Hart over 10.5 points.

05:07Well, I'll tell you what.

05:08If Brunson has over 28.5 points, the Knicks will win.

05:11And I'll tell you another thing.

05:12If Hart has a triple-double, because he can easily have 11 points, 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 dimes, he does it all the time.

05:23If either of those two things happen, the Knicks will win the game automatic.
