00:00Nine times in his career with Ferrari and McLaren.

00:04Last year he left the Ferrari team and went to Benetton with whom he is now.

00:09This is a lovely overhead shot from the roll bar.

00:13He's driven in no less than 196 Grands Prix, the most experienced of them all.

00:18Now, let's go round with Gerhard Berger as he goes into a flying lap.

00:23OK, he's coming down past the start finishing line now.

00:26You can just see the lights crossing above him into a very hard braking area into a right-hander.

00:31Keeping it in nice and tight as he comes through this part because he's no sooner through there than he's a left-hander.

00:36Going up through the gearbox, letting it drift out nice and wide.

00:39Up through the gearbox, down towards Martin Brundle's corner.

00:43Well, they call it Brundle straightaway now.

00:45Into this right-hander.

00:46He has to keep it over to the right because he's no sooner out of here than he's into a left-hander.

00:51There he goes, feeding on the throttle, back over to the left.

00:53Getting it ready for a very fast right-hander now.

00:57Now, the next section he's coming into has a little left kink before he has to go right.

01:00So he has to straight line break it.

01:02Cuts it in nice and tight.

01:04Now, the exit of this is very important because we're leading on to a very fast part of the circuit.

01:09Flat out through a sweeper, which I believe will be a real challenge in the wet.

01:12Down to the first chicane, second gear.

01:15Keep it in nice.

01:16And now, flat on it again, up through the gearbox.

01:20You can hear that.

01:20The fingers do the walking.

01:24Now, up to a fairly quick left-hander.

01:26Hitting right over near the wall, down through the box.

01:29Little left-hander.

01:30Flicks it into the right-hander.

01:32Now, up through the box again.

01:34Another long, sweeping corner.

01:36I think these corners are really going to be a challenge in the wet if it does rain.

01:39Back down through the gearbox.

01:41Into second.

01:42Perhaps third.

01:43Let's it drift nice and wide.

01:44Up one gear.

01:47Through another right-hander.

01:48Letting it drift over to the left again.

01:49And getting it back over to the right very quick smart.

01:52This is probably one of the slowest corners now.

01:54And it's also a very important one.

01:55Because he has to get back over to the left quick smart.

01:57And you have a very clean exit through this right-hander.

02:00Because how you come out of here dictates your speed down the start-finish line again.

02:03Gerhard Berger, the only man to have driven in all 13 Australian Grand Prix, is very quick indeed.
