With concerns about road accidents involving older drivers, we ask locals whether they think drivers should be taken off the roads at a certain age, or if extra testing should be introduced to keep everyone safe.

00:21I think they should have to take extra tests when they reach their certain age. What that
00:25age is, I don't know, because it varies. You get some 75-year-olds who are really, really
00:30old and you get some 85-year-olds that are still quite young. But I think you do need
00:35to bring in some sort of test.
00:38I know people who've got eyesight problems, what they didn't have back when they first
00:43passed their test or they weren't as bad. And as they've got older, it's got worse and
00:47they shouldn't be driving now, but they're perfectly legal to drive. So it's one of them,
00:53you should have to do a refresher every so often. Yeah, I do agree with that.
