The Return of Draw Egan is a 1916 silent Western film directed by and starring William S. Hart. The story follows "Draw" Egan, a notorious outlaw who assumes the identity of William Blake to escape his criminal past. Arriving in the lawless town of Yellow Dog, he is appointed marshal by the townspeople, who are unaware of his true identity. Egan brings order to the town and begins a romance with Myrtle Buckton, the mayor's daughter. However, his past catches up with him when a former gang member, Arizona Joe, arrives and threatens to expose him. Egan must confront his past and protect the town in a climactic showdown.
