A woman passenger was fined ₹500 after she was caught eating inside the Bengaluru Metro, violating metro rules.
The incident occurred on Saturday during her journey from Madavara station to Magadi Road. A fellow passenger filmed her eating from a tin box and posted the video on social media.
Metro security personnel identified and fined the woman at Madavara station. Officials reminded passengers that eating and drinking are prohibited to maintain cleanliness and ensure a comfortable travel experience.
