Miss Lulu Bett is a 1921 silent comedy-drama film directed by William C. deMille, based on Zona Gale’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play. The story follows Lulu Bett, a timid and overworked woman living with her domineering brother-in-law and his family. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she is briefly married to Ninian Deacon, only to discover he has another wife.
