00:00The Education Ministry has apologized for a mistake in the design of the Jaluk Kamilang printed on the Sijil Palaja and Malaysia results analysis report, in yet another snafu involving the national flag.
00:14The ministry said a thorough investigation is ongoing and admitted that the mistake was unacceptable.
00:20In a statement, the ministry said it has called for the analysis reports to be returned and amendments will be made.
00:26It said stern and immediate action has been taken against all parties involved.
00:31The report contained an image of students in a classroom with a Jaluk Kamilang with two stars instead of one hanging on the wall.
00:38The flag also had eight alternating red and white stripes instead of 14.
00:43Last week, Sinshu Daily courted controversy for publishing an illustration of the Jaluk Kamilang without the crescent moon on its front page.
00:51Subsequently, Kuangwa Yidpo and a Singapore-based baby food vendor also came under fire for allegedly showing the Jaluk Kamilang without the crescent moon.
