00:02Okay, well, let's start with baseball, where the Yankees took down the Phillies last night.
00:074-2, another good start for Garrett Cole.
00:10He struck out eight and let up just one run in six-plus innings to improve to 2-0 for the season.
00:16Actually, in 12 innings this year, Cole has just given up the one run.
00:21He is off to an excellent beginning to his season.
00:25Clay Holmes picked up the saves for the Yankees, and catcher Jose Trevino hit his first home run of the year.
00:31The Yanks improved to 4-2.
00:33The Phillies dropped to 1-5, and this is a year after they won the National League pennant.
00:39So, don't know what's going on in Philadelphia, but they need to get it together soon.
00:43The Mets lost to the Brewers 7-6 on a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth.
00:48While Met first baseman Pete Alonzo did slug two home runs,
00:52the pitching, once again, did not do the job, and reliever Adam Adovino allowed a game-winning homer
00:57to Garrett Mitchell in the ninth, and that was that.
01:00Over to basketball, where the Knicks had an impressive win over the Pacers yesterday,
01:05138-129, because the Knicks have clinched the fifth seed in the East for the NBA playoffs,
01:13so they decided to rest their stars.
01:15Julius Randle, Jalen Brunson, and R.J. Barrett.
01:19Meanwhile, Indiana is actually playing for a spot in the playoffs, so they were very motivated,
01:25and yet, the young Knick players were awesome.
01:29Emmanuel quickly scored 39, Quinton Grimes had 36, and Obie Toppin had 32,
01:35and the Knicks beat the Pacers, a desperate, needing-to-make-the-playoffs Pacers team.
01:40This says a lot.
01:41That's a pretty good sign for the Knicks.
01:42This is a great sign. This says a lot to me about why I am very excited for the Knicks in the playoffs.
01:48I believe, very quietly, they have one of the deepest teams in basketball, and no one's talking about that.

01:56The 76ers were off. They played the Heat this evening in Philly.

02:20And finally, football. Surprising development here from Denver.
02:23Broncos legend John Elway's consulting contract with the organization has ended,
02:28and the Broncos say they will not renew his contract.
02:31And Elway's had success as a front office guy.
02:33He was the guy who recruited Peyton Manning in 2015 to Denver to win a Super Bowl.
02:39But didn't he just bring in what's-his-face from Seattle, and that didn't work out so high?
02:43He did bring in Russell Wilson, and that was very bad.
02:47I wonder if that's because that's why they're doing this.
02:49But then he seems that maybe he corrected that mistake by bringing in Sean Payton.
02:54He was the guy who got New Orleans Super Bowl-winning coach Sean Payton.
02:59And so it's interesting that Elway won't be a consultant, a president, or a GM with the Broncos.
03:06And I am curious to see if he'll continue his football career with another team,
03:10because he's just Mr. Bronco.
03:12He's Mr. Denver. He's got his name on everything in Denver.
03:14He's the governor of Colorado.
03:15Like, that guy, yeah, he owns that.
03:17But can you imagine if, like—

03:28New York Jets fire their general manager, bring in Elway to lure Aaron Rodgers to the team.
03:34Star quarterbacks seem to listen to Elway is all I'm saying.
