00:35has always wanted to pet

00:37so Mystic Aquarium came here

00:40to the village gate of Farmington

00:42to grant her wish

00:43December 28, 1917

00:48that's when Bertha Comer was born

00:50the 104 year old

00:52who's nearly halfway to 105

00:53had a simple request

00:55to pet a penguin

00:57never thought it would happen

00:59but those at village gate of Farmington

01:01made sure it happened

01:03for their oldest resident

01:04Bertha moved from Florida

01:06almost 10 years ago

01:07to be closer to family

01:08she makes me smile

01:10she's such a spitfire

01:11there was times where the bus would take off

01:14and she would leave her walker

01:15and just go

01:16she's just an amazing person

01:17and to tell me that she wants to touch a penguin

01:20I had to make that dream come true

01:23so village gates enrichment coordinator

01:25Ashley Waddell reached out to Mystic Aquarium

01:28and Twilight Wish Foundation

01:29Wednesday's visit

01:31which would have cost $1,700

01:32was free

01:34do you think she got a confused
