00:00I think if they were sincerely interested in waste, fraud, and abuse cutting, they would not have fired all the inspectors general.
00:14Well, I think there are two factors, major factors, going on here, and they have nothing to do with government efficiency, cost-benefit analysis, or anything else.
00:26I think President Trump wants to destroy all the institutions of government because then he becomes the last word on everything.
00:40And I'm thinking honestly, and going back to the terrorists, this is an exercise in having people crawl on their knees to me and beg me to help them, etc., which is not a way to run a government or anything.
00:56And then the other aspect, too, of this is destroying those institutions and those, particularly the colleges he's attacking, who have in the past criticized him or will criticize him.
01:16And so there's just so much involved in just personal revenge and personal attacks that government policy is lost.
01:28And let me give you an example of how dumb this has all been.
01:32I was at Green Airport sitting there.
01:34A young lady came up to me and said, you know, five days ago I was dismissed from the National Nuclear Security Administration just without even a warrant.
01:45I got a call last night to return immediately because they cannot guarantee the safety of our nuclear arsenal and its effectiveness.
01:54And that's an example of the really smart policy initiatives that they've been instituting.
