Federal Election 2025: The Coalition campaign visits the seat of Calare in New South Wales.

00:00This morning, as you can see, we're in Orange in the seat of Clare, which covers most of

00:05central western New South Wales. But there won't be much campaigning today after Anthony Albanese

00:09and Peter Dutton both suspended their campaigns after Pope Francis died last night. Here in Orange,

00:15Mr Dutton is expected to visit a local church to pay his respects before the bus departs and

00:20we head to Sydney for the leaders debate tonight. It's one of those things you never know just what

00:25might happen on the campaign trail and the death of a pontiff or another major global leader.

00:30It's one of those events that can just throw us better into the works of any campaign plans.

00:34So we'll see how the leaders deal with it today and then continue on the campaign tonight.
