00:15And hey, by the way, do you see how good this guy is?

00:17And if you're watching, this guy is undeniably great.

00:20He's way better than anybody you've had in a long, long, long time.

00:24I imagine that the baseball people probably told him, like,

00:27listen, we're making this trade, and we're going to trade away a guy

00:31that might be pretty good because we think this guy is really good

00:36and can help us win right now.

00:38So Tom needs to be convinced, but Kyle Tucker also needs to be convinced

00:42to not take it all the way to free agency, all the way to the end of free agency.

00:46Because if he gets out there into the wilds of free agency.

00:49There's all sorts of stuff out there.

00:50Yeah, there really is.

00:51There's deferred contracts out there.

00:54Yeah, there's 14-year deals.

00:57There's craziness.

00:58There's deferred money to your point.

01:00There's all sorts of wacky perks, and you can play one against the other.

01:03And maybe that's what he's going to do no matter what.

01:05But you're hoping that this Wrigley magic that does have an effect on people,

01:11like Eric Caro says, every player in baseball should find a way to play there

01:15at least once.

01:16Yeah, but now he's done it.

01:17So now he's done it, and he's here.

01:20He should be feeling it.

01:21I feel like if there's a role to play for the fans to show that guy some love and make

01:28sure that he feels it, and then maybe ownership would also see you doing that and see the love

01:35affair blooming that it could only possibly help in getting Tom to do what he needs to

01:41do and give that man the giant bag.

01:45Because this is the guy.

01:47And while you have him here, right here, you should be talking to him and trying to secure

01:52him and let him secure the bag right here before he gets to free agency.

01:57You don't want it to wait.

01:58So I feel like there's got to be a role for the fans to play and for sports radio to play

02:02to make this happen in this active courtship that's taking place right now.
