Speaking to reporters at the White House Easter Egg Roll, President Trump was asked about a hearing on the Alien Enemies Act.

00:22There's a hearing today on the Alien Enemy Act in the D.C.U. district court.

00:26Your thoughts on that, Mr. President?

00:27Well, we were elected to clean up the mess of this country.

00:33And we had millions and millions of people come in who were criminals,

00:36who were murderers, who were everything you can imagine.

00:39Drug lords, drug dealers.

00:40They came in from prisons and from mental institutions.

00:43And I was elected to move them out, among many other things.

00:47And that's what we're doing.
