00:00In the 2015 NFL Draft, Oregon has another chance to break their program record of Ducks headed to the NFL.

00:06You just set the record last season.

00:09What does that say about this program?

00:11That we're building, right?

00:12That we're building something and we're getting better and better each year.

00:14And it speaks to our players, the work that they put in, and then the aspirations.

00:19You know, every guy dreams of getting the opportunity to play in the NFL,

00:21but I think it says that if you come to Oregon, you've got a real shot at doing it.

00:24I talked to Terrence Ferguson about you, and he said this isn't happening by coincidence.

00:28A lot of this has to do with landing.

00:31I looked it up.

00:32You have 28 players that you coached since 2021 that were drafted.

00:37Now, with your goal being to help others to get to where their goals are, how does that make you feel?

00:43Well, it's a great feeling, right?

00:45But again, I didn't do any of that work.

00:47They did that work, right?

00:48So a lot of times capturing a goal and realizing a dream is really based on making sure that you put people in position to be able to do that

00:55and take advantage of what's in front of them.

00:56And then they have to be motivated, right?

00:58So, you know, the big-picture dream, some of these guys want to go play in the NFL,

01:02but just as important is what's their career look like after the ball goes flat.

01:06You know, what do they do after those moments?

01:07And I'm going to be just as proud as some of the guys that leave here with a degree

01:10and what they're able to do with their degree when they leave Oregon as a guy that goes on to the NFL.

01:14Yeah.

01:14But as a Chiefs fan, you've got to be hoping that hopefully.

01:17I'm always hoping that a couple of our guys might end up with the Chiefs.

01:22Absolutely.

01:23Are you headed anywhere for the NFL draft this year?

01:25We'll still be practicing, but there might be an opportunity to be able to slip away to one of our players that night

01:30if there's an opportunity.

01:31Yeah, like night one?

01:32Yeah, potentially.

01:33Okay, because you have a spring game that Saturday.

01:34That's right.
