00:00This is a story about a girl. Her name is Amy. Some call her Ivan. This is a story about a girl and she's part of the plan of God.
00:24And nothing can ever separate her from it. She's got bravery. She's not afraid. She's not afraid of what people think. And nothing, her, her story, is...
00:47All right, Amy. We're continuing to Luke chapter 7. We've been doing a very good study here, Amy. I'm very happy with you girls. God has been blessing us good.
01:00And we continue. Luke chapter 7, verse 21 to 30. Message to be the servants of the Lord. Here we see something important, Amy, that we talk about.
01:11John the Baptist. And here Jesus Christ tells and explain about the messenger. We all know John the Baptist is the messenger that was sent before Jesus to receive him.
01:23To baptize him so he can complete the prophecy. And John the Baptist is cousin of Jesus of Nazareth, Amy. Just to remind you, Amy. Just to remind you.
01:33And we continue. There was something good. And above all, it talks about how John the Baptist of men who are born for women, none like John the Baptist.
01:43And he makes an example. Those who are in the kingdom of heaven, least among them, is greater than John the Baptist.
01:50A very important thing, a lesson for us that Jesus tells us to be like his servants in the kingdom of heaven.
01:58If we baptize, we can be or be greater than John the Baptist. Something good, Amy, something good.
02:05Next, we go to Luke chapter 8, verse 4 to 15. How to be like God's servants and something important.
02:13And it talks about why Jesus sometimes talks in parables. It's something good, Amy.
02:19And how we can receive information from him. How we can discern by listening to him. And how his parables do tell us many things that are important to us.
02:31Next, Luke chapter 8, verse 16 to 18. A lamp on a stand. We have already looked at these, Amy, these verses.
02:38Even though some told me that, you know, we're repeating verses. It's important, Amy. We must never be bored or we must never lose discipline.
02:47If we study the Bible, we, even though sometimes we, you know, repeat the verses that look.
02:53Sometimes when Luke and John, it repeats the same verses as Matthew.
02:57And even though sometimes it, for some of us, it can be boring, Amy. We must learn never to be bored by these things.
03:03And that we must always take great patience. And for the reason we study the Bible, we must take diligently about all the verses and analyze them correctly in all corners and see correctly their aspects.
03:16And even though it's a repeating of it, we know that Jesus Christ, for reason, the fourth book for the day is for us to take advantage and to always respect and love the scripture, Amy.
03:29We continue, Amy. The lamp on the stand is the same as the light.
03:32When we talk about God being light for us to guiding us in our lives. And it's a good parable.
03:37Next, we go to Luke chapter 9, verse 10 to 17.
03:42Jesus feeds 5,000 women and men to know about this great miracle for all of us to believe that he does miracles.
03:49And it's something very good.
03:50Next, Luke chapter 9, verse 21 to 27.
03:56Jesus predicts his death.
03:58And we know that prophecy was completing.
04:01Jesus told about his disciples that he was going to die and something for all of us to know and hear that he was completing prophecy for women and men to hear.
04:10Next, Luke chapter 9, verse 46 to 48.
04:16To be like the little child, Jesus was correcting his disciples.
04:21Among them, they were talking about how to be the greatest.
04:24And Jesus reminded them to be like the little child that he was the least.
04:31And for us, we don't know.
04:33To be among the least is to be the greatest.
04:37To be humble is what Jesus was talking about.
04:41Luke chapter 9, verse 29 to 50.
04:45And Jesus was talking about some disciples talking about some men who was using the name of Jesus to cast out demons.
04:54And he was talking and, you know, it was something that Jesus explained.
04:58It's something we already looked in the other book about those who are not against Jesus and those who are for Jesus.
05:04That we, well, you know, it's something important maybe.
05:07Sometimes we see preachers in the streets and sometimes we see them and some of them are preaching the word.
05:12And, you know, some of us, we consider that maybe he's not part of our group and we just want to stop him.
05:18No, we let God decide that and judge that because God might be sending him to do something and you don't know.
05:25It's perhaps better not to prejudice yourself or to give yourself a bad name that simply you don't judge others.
05:33And if someone is preaching the word, we know we don't stop them.
05:37We don't try to interfere.
05:38We let God do his work because it's not always, always about us.
05:42Maybe, you know, some other people are preaching and doing the words because God is working.
05:46And he's doing others to do the mission that he sent them to do, to do preaching the word.
05:51Sometimes it depends on the person maybe, but something applies for all of us maybe to be wise and humble.
05:57You know, let God continue his work with others and don't judge so we don't interfere.
06:03And later on, well, God doesn't punish us.
06:06Something we have to be wise about maybe.
06:08Luke chapter 9 verse 57 to 66.
06:12The cost of following Jesus.
06:14This is important maybe that sometimes, you know, it's hard for us here.
06:17We hear some men who tell Jesus that they want to bury their fathers.
06:22And Jesus tells them that, don't worry, let the dead bury the dead.
06:26And something important that we put God above first, about all our problems, our work, our family.
06:33And sometimes it's hard, our entertainment.
06:36And Jesus makes an example that for a reason, Jesus gave us a family.
06:40And sometimes in our lives, we will make tests with our family.
06:43This is the hard things in life maybe.
06:45But, you know, to put God above all our things and our problems.
06:49And sometimes it brings conflict.
06:51But it's okay, it's okay.
06:53It's sometimes the test that God gives us.
06:55And we pray that our families be part of Jesus Christ.
06:58And sometimes there will be families that aren't.
07:00We pray for them maybe.
07:02And we know those problems.
07:04Well, we finish very good the Bible study.
07:07Oh wow, this was very good.
07:10That's important of all we heard about Jesus putting men first.
07:14And above all, the cost of following Jesus.
07:18Sometimes that brings conflict to me.
07:20That hurts my heart.
07:22Sometimes family, we don't know all together.
07:25And I do pray in which we are.
07:28And I pray for those because my dad and mom are baptized.
07:31Oof, it would be so hard if they weren't.
07:34And then, pray and put God first.
07:38Because before I struggled against those things.
07:41Well, I struggled against them.
07:43But time passed, I realized that putting God first.
07:47And letting Him decide things like.
07:50And putting Him in charge of my family helps.
07:53He makes the world and He moves everything.
07:56And I pray for others.
07:58Sometimes put God above all those things.
08:01And family is first there, but God is first.
08:05And I learned that.
08:07And it's a good thing.
08:09Ah, yeah.
08:10So true.
08:11It brings conflict.
08:12It brings problems.
08:14Sometimes family, it sometimes has to go with God, but it doesn't.
08:18And sometimes there's rebellion and they don't want to worship God.
08:21And it's a problem for them, it's a problem for everyone.
08:24And I do pray for those who have family that are not inside the church to help them.
08:30Sometimes it will hurt and sometimes the test that God gives us.
08:34Well, you're right about that.
08:36Oh, talking about family and those very important issues is something that people don't want to talk about.
08:44But something that we have to all go through in our lives so we can change, be better people.
08:49Look God's way above all.
08:51He helps our problems.
08:52God isn't against family.
08:54God is beyond all of us, but He gave us family so we can be happy in love.
09:00And sometimes family will be against God and against Christianity and it's something that hurts.
09:06But sometimes we must always put God above all those things because we are faithful to Him and we love Him.
09:13And we know that God will deliver and sometimes our family will receive their error and will join Jesus Christ.
09:19It is hard, Bob. It is hard, those things.
09:22Girls, these are important things.
09:25And I know that I'm praying for you and other people in our part of our congregation that have problems like that.
09:32That they put God first and for them it's something hard but God is the one who will help you heal and above all fix your problems with your family so you can make them go with Jesus Christ.
09:43So they can look in Jesus Christ and see that He is an answer and some of them are against Him.
09:48And we know the world, it sometimes puts things in the television and it blinds people and they don't realize that God is more important in our lives.
09:58And that He will help us and that He does everything to sustain family.
10:03He's not against family.
10:04But we know that in life, in this life everything can happen and above all there will always be good times and bad times.
10:11And sometimes we have to go through those things saving.
10:13The old girls talking about this remind me of a good woman named Laura Milma Stone.
10:19She's a good woman, Mrs. Stone.
10:22And she is a good person.
10:24She has a great story.
10:26She's a great woman.
10:27She's been living in the street for a long time.
10:30You met her, A.B.
10:32Oh, I remember her.
10:33She's a good person.
10:35Sometimes mom and me, we have given her some good food and we've given her a hot drink.
10:41Some chocolate.
10:42She's a good person.
10:44And I'm going to tell you that later on we're going to pray for her so she can, you know,
10:49help her and pray for her because she's a person in need.
10:52And she's a great person.
10:54Well girls, that's it for today.
10:57I'll talk to you girls later, okay?
10:59I'm sorry.
11:27You
