00:00This is a story about a girl. Her name is Amy. Some call her Ivan. This is a story about a girl and she's part of the plan of God.
00:24And nothing can ever separate her from it. She's got bravery. She's not afraid. She's not afraid of what people think. And nothing, her, her story is.
00:47Okay, Amy. We've been doing good, Amy. We finished. Now, Matthew, we're going to Mark. And Mark is going to be simple.
00:54We're just going to, you know, it's very, it's small compared to the other ones.
00:59And, you know, it's going to be something good, Amy. And we're going to start with Mark.
01:03You know, we went through the high status through all of Mark. Now we're going to the equal status.
01:07Mark, chapter 1, verse 1 to 8. The message of the Messiah, Amy.
01:14Here we see Jesus starts to exist. And here we hear this message from Baptist.
01:21John the Baptist. And here we're going to hear that he will be sending a messenger.
01:27And John the Baptist talks about that great person that's going to come here.
01:32And you know his name is Jesus.
01:33And this is the start for it. It's a message for women and men, maybe.
01:39Next, Mark, chapter 1, verse 14 to 15.
01:45Jesus announces good news for women and men.
01:48And Jesus starts his ministry. He starts preaching the word.
01:52And here we're going to see all the things, you know, that God, he directed for women and men to do together.
02:00To do his gospel, to do his commandments, and to do what he told us to do.
02:07Next, we go to Mark, chapter 2, verse 13 to 17.
02:13God came for the sick.
02:16And all of us are sick, Amy.
02:18You know, it's something we talked about, Amy, before.
02:21Humans have a bad perception.
02:23Is that we're all sick, Amy.
02:25We have sin in our lives.
02:27The ones that are not sick, the original human beings were the giants.
02:32The giants that have six fingers.
02:34They were the ones that God created.
02:40We don't have any more six fingers.
02:41We have five.
02:43And including our thumbs.
02:45We're not told as they were.
02:47You know, they were the original way that God made man and woman.
02:52But, I'll tell you, Amy.
02:54The perception is that.
02:56The humans like to judge and be racist.
02:58We're not perfect.
02:59No one's perfect, Amy.
03:00God made Adam and Eve.
03:03In his image.
03:05And, you know, God is the only one perfect.
03:08All of us humans, we can sin.
03:11And, next, we go to Mark 2, verse 18 to 22.
03:19And, here, he tells us how to fast.
03:22And, Jesus, here we hear the teachers of the law.
03:26The people in that time, they were telling Jesus why their disciples didn't fast.
03:32And, here, it's just to make it, you know, an example.
03:35Jesus was telling that it.
03:37He makes examples here, Amy.
03:40One, he talks about the bridegroom.
03:42And, he talks about garments.
03:44And, about wine skins.
03:47Here, he tells us that you don't put wine in all skins because you know it will burst.
03:53He tells us to put new wine in new wine skins.
03:56So, that way, they won't burst.
03:59You know, they won't drip from the wine skins.
04:01And, this is an example that what Jesus is telling us is that patience and that he was going to do it with his good disciples at his time.
04:11Waiting things to do things at his time.
04:13He didn't rush things.
04:15He was going to do things at his time, maybe.
04:17For women and men to do, maybe.
04:21Next, we go to Mark, chapter 2, verse 23 to 28.
04:25And, Jesus is Lord of Sabbath.
04:27And, you know, we were talking about this before.
04:29You know, about the being shrewd as snakes.
04:32And, also, being, you know, like, being like those.
04:35And, this is an example that we can do good works on the Sabbath.
04:39And, that we can't let, you know, rules and laws stop us from doing good things on Sabbath.
04:45And, above all, if someone is dying or someone is in danger, we can do something on Sabbath.
04:51And, women and men can do those things.
04:53Apply for women and men, maybe.
04:54It's something we already talked about.
04:56We're going to talk about it later on.
04:57But, you know, it's a very important thing, maybe.
05:00So, we're going to go to the next one.
05:04Mark, chapter 3, verse 1 to 6.
05:07And, here again, we're talking about healing on Sabbath.
05:11The Pharisees and the teachers of the law, they were all talking not to do things on Sabbath.
05:16Here, Jesus cures on Sabbath and proves that they were wrong.
05:22It's a very important thing, A.V.
05:24And, I'm glad, A.V.
05:26You know, those things about what we're talking about, you know, remember.
05:29Back in the old days, a lot of good Pharisees, teachers of the law, good of them.
05:35They will sometimes teach the law and everything, but sometimes they can be against it.
05:39And, they will sometimes, you know, prohibit others to help people who are in need or to do things on Sabbath.
05:46And, they will do these things.
05:47And, you know, we will talk about that it's something we don't have to do.
05:50Because, it's not what we should be doing, I mean, obeying them, but just obeying God.
05:56And, doing the things that God says already in the Bible and such needs.
05:59But, this is why Jesus came, so he can explain them.
06:04And, stop them, the teachers of the law, from making those mistakes.
06:09And, it is lawful to do good things on Sabbath, A.V.
06:13And, supporting, and that's a pride for women and men.
06:16Well, we did good, girls.
06:18We're going to finish Mark fast, you know.
06:20It's something good, A.V.
06:21I'm very happy.
06:24I, uh, I like it, Bao.
06:28When we've seen all the things of the law, it's important.
06:31The law was to help us.
06:33It was always made to help us, and not for us to be stopped.
06:36And, doing good things for saving a life on the Sabbath.
06:41I'm very happy, Bao.
06:43Because, you know, there's that, that confusion for all of us.
06:46If such a situation happened, we were, you know, driving in a car, and some person, you know, got lost.
06:54Should we help them or not?
06:56Or, if we were on Sabbath, we shouldn't be driving either.
06:59We should have stayed home the whole time.
07:01We can't go.
07:02Or, if we were doing something on Sabbath, it just raises questions.
07:06It makes us realize that we have to do things correctly in God.
07:09God's way.
07:11And, you know, those things back in their time.
07:14And, if, teachers of the law, and the Pharisees, and those times, they would tell you you couldn't do some things on Sabbath, like helping a person.
07:23Or, you were going to, your family needed a medicine or something.
07:28And, they would even try to stop you, some of them.
07:30Those things could happen.
07:32You know, you wouldn't, you know, you wouldn't have done that.
07:35You probably would have stayed at home.
07:36And, you know, Jesus, he was trying to fight for us, showing that sometimes we can't be too severe in the law, and we cannot be, make our hearts made of stone.
07:46And, oh, you see, these are the important things, A.D.
07:52I agree with Melissa.
07:54Sometimes, when we're in those times, they wouldn't let us do things.
07:57And, especially women.
07:59They wouldn't let women do any of the important things.
08:01If someone needed help, or anything like that, they would be oppressing them.
08:06Oppressing a good woman from doing the word of God.
08:10And, God wanted us to do those things, if necessary.
08:12Sometimes, the plan of God would have wanted some girl, some person, to do something good on the Sabbath.
08:18But, by the teachers of the law, the Pharisees, all of them, they would have said no, and they would have denied you.
08:25Even though, it would have been something that God wanted you to do.
08:28Oh, those things bring confrontation above all contradicts, as sometimes humans make mistakes with the law of God.
08:36Oh, wow.
08:38Oh.
08:38Those are the important things we have to look at.
08:41If we use the law, not to be in those type of situations.
08:46And, if today, you know, in some parts, in some countries, there are the Samaritan laws.
08:51They should do good.
08:53But, sometimes, my dad looks at the news, and some people won't do good.
08:58And, even they will be arrested.
09:00Cops will arrest them.
09:02Well, that contradicts things.
09:04That's modern things.
09:06But, those are the problems that sometimes Israel had back in those days.
09:11And, you know, it's something bad.
09:14Now, I understand that, back in those days, good thing that Jesus made an example, and he explained things.
09:20That people can do good things, or someone needed help, or do something on the Sabbath.
09:24They should, and they must do it.
09:26Even if a teacher of the law or some authority inside your church tells you not to, you don't obey them, you obey God.
09:33Oh, that's important, pal.
09:35Hey, today, it contradicts everything.
09:38If you try to see someone, or you try to get someone from the house, and it's burning, they won't arrest you in this modern world.
09:46I don't like that, pal.
09:47I know, I heard about that, A.V.
09:51Some time ago, some person in our town here, someone had a house burning, and they arrested the guy.
09:59They told him that their job was to keep security safe, and the firemen, it's their job to save a person.
10:06Even though they didn't get in time.
10:09It's not fair for that person, but still, that's against the law.
10:12Later on, they let him go.
10:15But still, those things happen today in the modern world, and they're going to still be happening.
10:19And sometimes, unfortunately for people, it was worse in the times of Israel and Moses, in the times.
10:25Today, we know, thanks to technology, many people who have problems, we can help, and stop some type of corruption from police, anything like that.
10:33These are the problems that happen.
10:35And Jesus came, and he solved those problems, and he made an example, and he helped, and he stated.
10:43And you know, A.V., those things today happen, that people will be having those type of problems of good Samaritans,
10:49and sometimes people who won't do the Samaritan law, and sometimes, like, we don't like to realize it,
10:56but it's sometimes good that it happens, it's sometimes bad, A.V.
10:58Well, God will judge it all, A.V., but those are situations, and that's something we talk about today.
11:03And it's important to do what God wants, and not what the world wants.
11:07Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
11:33Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
11:38Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
11:39Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
11:40Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
11:41Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
11:42Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
11:43Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
11:44Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
11:45Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
11:47Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
11:49Let's hope you don't get arrested for doing something good.
