Let's first talk about what probably was the worst of the four title fights.
00:04
I mean, he had four title fights, two-ish night, some great fights,
00:07
but then there was one that left some serious lacking,
00:10
and that was Austin No Doubt Trout defending his title against Carlos Trindad's Snake.
00:14
I mean, CTS got the knockdown the first round.
00:16
He's up 10-8.
00:17
You figured, oh, man, the young buck's going to come take this title,
00:20
and then he just tried to coast on one round the rest of the way.
00:23
I don't even know how it got to a six, honestly.
00:25
I had it done after five.
00:26
What did you see, you know, ringside there as these two were battling,
00:29
and really not really throwing for four of the five rounds?
00:33
Well, you know, what I really recognized right from the beginning is Austin Trout,
00:38
he's had a lot of championship rounds, and Carlos Trindad's Snake has not,
00:42
and that's a huge difference.
00:43
I mean, I think Carlos, next time he'll have a better understanding,
00:46
and just like sometimes the big bright lights make it a little bit different.
00:49
I think he will understand, hey, I have to throw more punches.
00:52
But Trout, just a constant professional, it is that experience.
00:55
Those eight, so many, whatever, how many title fights you've had,
00:58
those rounds you've done, that is immeasurable to have that kind of experience,
01:03
and you utilize that, and you know where to throw and where not to throw.
01:06
He did enough.
01:07
He went there, started laying a lot of left hands in the body, got inside.
01:10
He was just busier.
01:11
He was active, and he landed more shots.
01:14
Yeah, and I mean, I know they always say that the judges are supposed to be
01:16
impartially, not supposed to give a little more credit to one guy or the other,
01:19
but that title always does.
01:20
And to be the champ, you have to beat the champ,
01:22
and he certainly did not try to beat the champ.
01:24
It seemed like after he got that knockdown, he just fought not to lose,
01:27
which was weird, given what we've seen from him before.
01:29
But hopefully, we'll probably see him back very soon.
01:31
The young guy, a lot of great wins under his belt,
01:34
so we'll see what is next and if he learns from this one.
01:36
But someone who has learned from title losses
01:39
and has turned it into just dominating title defenses now, of course,
01:43
is Britton Hart.
01:44
She had that one against Ty Emery here, just another situation.
01:47
Ever since she's dropped down to 115 and got this title,
01:49
it's just a showcase for her.
01:52
It seems like every time Ty Emery had some great punches.
01:54
She had some power that she showed at times, but it was another, you know,
01:57
just clinic of Britton Hart moving and sticking, hitting you,
02:00
getting out of the way, and just doing her thing for five rounds,
02:03
picking her opponent apart.
02:04
I mean, Britton Hart is just unbelievably good, unbelievably talented.
02:08
But just, more than that, she's just, she epitomizes it
02:12
when we say you have to be a dog.
02:13
Every time she gets hit, she fires back with harder punches.
02:16
I mean, that's something you can't teach.
02:19
That's something that has to be, I don't know if it's born into you
02:21
or it's just beating you through life.
02:22
I don't know what it is, but Britton Hart has it in spades.
02:25
Every time she comes to fight, I mean, Ty, I thought,
02:28
very formidable opponent.
02:30
She's so strong, so powerful.
02:31
And every time she cracked Britt,
02:32
Britt came right back with two, three punches of her own.
02:35
That was an unbelievable fight.
02:37
I mean, both those females are warriors.
02:39
They went to battle.
02:41
I mean, Ty Emery's face was a wreck at the end.
02:43
And Britt is just, I mean, I don't know what to say about her,
02:45
tough as nails.
02:46
And her confidence is just at such a level right now.
02:49
You're not bringing it to her.
02:51
I mean, she's going to fire back every time.
02:52
I don't think people are knocking her out.
02:54
She's just the queen of 115.
02:56
I don't know what else to say about it.
02:58
And, you know, it's not even like some novel striking.
03:01
She's doing some crazy angles.
03:02
Just simple one-two, one-two.
03:04
And she just picks you apart the whole fight.
03:05
And it probably frustrates you even more so
03:07
when it's just the same two punches that she's just eating you up with
03:10
as you keep going round after round.
03:11
You also had an incredible comeback there from Tello.
03:15
Hamasi won the first two rounds, it looked like.
03:17
And then Tello just comes through and just starts knocking him down,
03:21
knocking him down before he gets the finish there.
03:23
And, you know, kind of a sad fight there with the former UFC,
03:27
you know, longtime heavyweight Alexi Olenek, the bow reconstrictor,
03:30
not fighting because he wants to, as he flat out said,
03:32
just fighting because he has to and taking a beating in his BKFC debut.
03:37
Yeah, that was tough.
03:38
Man, just some extremely powerful fighters.
03:43
I remember the guy trying to take his shirt off at Wayne's.
03:46
He couldn't barely get it off.
03:47
It was unreal.
03:48
I was like, this dude's an absolute animal.
03:50
He's a monster.
03:51
I still think if that fight gets past the first round,
03:55
maybe halfway through the second round, he tires out.
03:57
You know, if he could have got worn out a little bit.
04:00
But, man, nobody's taken too many of those shots.
04:03
That guy looked like a physical specimen.
04:04
Hits very hard.
