“Women have gone through lot of suffering…” NCW Chairperson on meeting victims’ families

Malda (WB), April 18, 2025 (ANI): After meeting with victim’s families, NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar on April 18 said that the women have gone through a lot of suffering. “I met women and children in the camp and they shared their experiences with me...The women have gone through a lot of suffering, their houses were burnt, they were forcefully evicted from their homes, they were also sexually assaulted...,” said Vijaya Rahatkar.
