00:25Now, when you first hear that you think, whoa, what the hell?

00:29Who is this guy?

00:30What's he talking about?

00:31Manipulate time and space, annihilate distance, right?

00:34Well that is spreading like wildfire through the UFO community and other communities because

00:40of the implications.

00:41Now we're going to get into who exactly this is and I've found the whole clip so we can

00:47get a lot more context on exactly what this person is talking about.

00:53And who is this person?

00:55Well, his name is Michael Kratios, right?

00:59He's the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy Director.

01:04And he made this comment at something that's being called the Endless Frontiers Retreat.

01:28Over the last few decades, America has become complacent, forgetting old dreams of building

01:33a wondrous future.

01:35But we know the American pioneer spirit still seeks the exploration of endless frontiers.

01:42Our technologies and what we do with them will be tools with which we will make the destiny

01:47of our country manifest in this century.

01:51Yet this American hope in the possibility of progress and the power of science and technology

01:57does not allow builders and innovators to retreat from politics.

02:02Indeed, quite the opposite, which is what brings me here today.

02:07A golden age is only possible if we choose it.

02:12There is nothing predestined about technological progress and scientific discovery.

02:17They require the efforts and energies of men and women, the collective choice for order

02:24and truth over disorder and opinion.

02:29The last century was called the American century as, despite wars and domestic conflict, the United

02:35States stood at the forefront of science and technology, building the future.

02:42With the strength of our industry and ingenuity, we created the largest middle class the world

02:47has ever seen.

02:49As President Trump said to me in his letter laying out the science and technology policy

02:53agenda of his administration, the triumphs of the last century did not happen by chance.

03:01Ours was the atomic age, ours the victory in the space race, and ours the invention of the

03:07internet, collecting and connecting the multiplicity of human knowledge.

03:14Today we fight to restore that inheritance.

03:18As a failure of the Biden administration, small-yard, high-fence approach makes clear, it is not

03:23enough to seek to protect America's technological lead.

03:27We also have a duty to promote American technological leadership.

03:32Now, this all sounds very exciting, and don't worry, we're getting to the part that I'm sure

03:37you want to hear, right?

03:38About technology manipulation and all of that, right?

03:42It's coming.

03:43But, I wanted to show the fuller, you know, context and show more of this clip so you can

03:50kind of understand what exactly is he talking about.

03:52In my opinion, I don't really think he's kind of talking about hidden technology that can

03:57manipulate time and space the way that we think, right?

04:01I mean, if you look through this gentleman's history, this is stuff he's talked about for

04:06a long time, and essentially, he has a problem with the way the Biden administration runs, you

04:13know, what he's trying to do, and is happy with maybe the way the Trump administration

04:18is going to handle it.

04:19But if you look through his history, he's talked about this stuff before, and he's been at the

04:23Endless Frontiers retreat before and spoke, and he's spoken at many things, and he really

04:28focuses on AI.

04:30Now, I know people are going to interpret this any way they want, and that's fine, but

04:34in my opinion, I don't know if he's talking about any secret technology that's hidden,

04:39that's UAP-related, even though that's what's being said in the UFO community, right?

04:45That, here's proof, see, we have all this stuff.

04:48I don't know, right?

04:49I think if you get the full context here, you can maybe understand what he's talking about.

04:53And I'm not saying I don't agree with what he's saying.

04:54I think pushing the limits of technology are absolutely what we should be doing, right?

05:05end of this clip I'm about to show you.

05:07A gap lies between our moment and the speed of transformation America experienced mid-century.

05:15Progress has slowed.

05:17Yes, large language models astonish us.

05:20Rockets still turn our eyes upwards, and satellites envelop the globe.

05:24But as we look forward to America's 250th birthday celebration next year, our progress

05:30today pales in comparison to the huge leaps of the 20th century.

05:36Consider the country of 50 years ago.

05:38As the nation approached its bicentennial, Americans look forward to electricity that was too cheap

05:44to meter.

05:45By the end of 1972, 30 nuclear power plants were operational.

05:4955 were under construction, and more than 80 were planned or ordered.

05:52That same year, Apollo 17 astronauts became the 11th and 12th men to walk on the moon.

06:00Five years before, the X-15 rocket plane had set a speed record for a crewed aircraft of Mach 6.7.

06:08America was flying higher, faster, and further than ever before.

06:12Today, however, energy prices still burden producers and consumers alike, and the grid remains precarious.

06:21Over the past 30 years, only three commercial nuclear reactors have been built, and 10 have closed.

06:26Despite spending almost twice as much on healthcare as pure nations, we have the lowest life expectancy.

06:32Apollo 17's steps on the lunar surface have proved mankind's last.

06:36The X-15's record still stands, and the Concorde was decommissioned more than two decades ago.

06:43Our passenger planes are slower than they used to be.

06:47Our trains crawl compared to those in other parts of the world.

06:50Our cars do not fly.

06:53Advances have not stopped, but something has gone wrong.

06:57Stagnation was a choice.

07:01We have weighed down our builders and innovators.

07:04The well-intentioned regulatory regime of the 1970s became an ever-tightening ratchet,

07:10first hampering America's ability to become a net energy exporter,

07:13and then making it harder and harder to build.

07:17We seem to have lost focus and vision,

07:20to have lowered our sights and let systems and structures and bureaucracies muddle us along.

07:25But we are capable of so much more.

07:29Our technologies permit us to manipulate time and space.

07:39So, you can see at the end there, he kind of wipes his brow like,

07:42oh my god, I just said that, right?

07:44And people were reading into that too.

07:46People are just sharing a short clip and not giving the full context,

07:50which is why you tune in to Vetted, right?

07:52To get a little more context and try to understand what he's saying.

07:56Of course, I would be excited to hear that we have some hidden secret technology

08:01that allows us to manipulate time and space in the way you want to think it is.

08:05But that can mean many things, right?

08:08And I think he's just talking about,

08:09I mean, clearly states, right?

08:10Just stagnation, right?

08:12A lot of red tape, right?

08:13We were at one point innovating in such a way,

08:16and then it kind of just stopped, right?

08:18I think that's just more what he's getting at,

08:20and he wants to open the doors more, right?

08:22Free up the chains, right?

08:24Unhandcuff innovators so that they can help us move into this new century,

08:31and especially with AI.

08:32Again, he deals a lot with AI.

08:34So, I think that's more what he's talking about.

08:37Now, could I be wrong?

08:38Well, of course, but that's just my opinion,

08:40seeing the full context,

08:42and watching the full presentation at the Endless Frontiers, right?

08:45Because this is a little over 30 minutes.

08:47They even interview him.

08:56Now, is it exciting what he's saying?

08:58Yes, right?

08:59Is it UAP related?

09:04Now, people are going to disagree with me,

09:06and that's fine.

09:07You're allowed to your opinion, of course, right?

09:10But in mine, I definitely think he's just talking about innovation in general,

09:15and how it was hit with roadblocks and red tape,

09:17and couldn't go any further.

09:18So, let's free this up a little bit and see what we can come up with, right?

09:22Now, adding a little bit more context,

09:25he continues to say this and what his plans are for changing this.

09:30Our first assignment is to secure America's preeminence in critical and emerging technologies.

09:37This administration will ensure that our nation remains the leader in the industries of the future

09:42with a strategy of both promotion and protection,

09:47protecting our greatest assets and promoting our greatest innovators.

09:51To the degree it even tried to accomplish this,

09:55the Biden administration failed on its own terms,

09:58led by spirit of fear rather than promise.

10:02The old regime sought to protect its managerial power from the disruptions of technology,

10:07while promoting social divisions and redistribution in the name of equity.

10:12They secured American technology poorly,

10:15and failed to strengthen our leadership at all.

10:19Promoting America's technological leadership requires three things of government.

10:24First, we have to make the smart choices

10:27of collectively allocating our public research and development dollars.

10:32Second, we have to make the right choices

10:35in constructing a common sense pro-innovation regulatory regime.

10:40And third, we have to make the easy choice

10:43to adopt the incredible products and tools made by American builders

10:47to enable their export abroad.

10:50So there we go, right?

10:51He's laying out a plan here to sort of loosen the restrictions

10:56and open some doors again to people to be able to innovate.

11:01And I think that's really all this was about.

11:03People may read more into this, and that's fine.
