00:00La primera pregunta la tenemos por aquí, Romero.
00:03¿Y a quién le va a hacer la pregunta, por favor?
00:06Romero González, Diario Libre, to Mr. John Norris.
00:33That's a great question.
00:34If you were to ask Billy if he were here,
00:37first of all, he'd love to be here.
00:39But he had gone, I believe, over two years between his last win.
00:45And this set him back to the head of the class of the PGA Tour.
00:51He makes the PGA Tour playoffs, and it's life-changing.
00:54And it's also life-changing to younger players,
00:57like what happened to Nate in 2017.
01:01And so that's where you see such a mixture of former champions and future champions.
01:06And a win here gets 300 FedEx Cup points.
01:09It puts you in two huge events next year,
01:12which is the Century and the Players' Championship.
01:15It vaults you into what we call our Aeon Swing 5,
01:18which are the events between signature events that will get you into our next signature event in Philadelphia at the Truist Championship.
01:26And it sets you up for a great run towards the top 70 to make the FedEx Cup playoffs.
01:30And so it's life-changing, but it's life-changing for anyone from a 16-year-old playing in maybe his first PGA Tour event
01:39up to some veterans in their 50s that are still trying to regain some of that magic.
01:43And I think what you saw last week at the Masters as someone who's in his mid-40s in Justin Rose, right?
01:49And so it's never too late to sort of re-energize and regenerate your career.
01:54And I think that's what happens here each and every year.
01:57Mr. Norris, what was the most important thing to take the decision to extend PGA Tour 2027?
02:08Well, the first thing it takes is two great partners, right?
02:11And so we have a decade now of history with the family and with the resort and with Punta Cana.
02:21And there's nothing we like better than to extend great partnerships.
02:25And so first it takes two parties that are willing and able to get back together.
02:29And then it has to be one that both it's give and take,
02:34where our title sponsor feels like they have a benefit and the PGA Tour benefit.
02:38So I think it's a perfect combination of an amazing sponsor, the great facility, and the PGA Tour.
02:45And so whenever we have that opportunity,
02:47we're hoping there's another 10 two-year extensions in our future.
02:52So thank you so much for that.
02:54Thank you.
