00:00As we shared yesterday, if the Warriors booked as a six and a half seven point home favorite

00:04were just to win outright to claim that seven seed out west, more than likely they were going

00:10to be a playoff series outright favorite against the two seed. Yeah, the two seed in the Houston

00:16Rockets. And here is why. Oklahoma City an odds on favorite at minus 150. Yesterday, the Lakers

00:23at plus 650 and the Warriors at plus 750. The odds slightly better for both LA and Golden State.

00:30But you see that price on the dubs seven to one to win the Western Conference crown.

00:34What's the number on the two seed out west? The Houston Rockets still remain 26 to one.

00:41Golden State nearly a fourth of the price of Houston. Those two teams will do battle in

00:47the opening round of the playoffs beginning this weekend. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. And again,

00:52the NBA is really the only league that would actually have this where the number two seed

00:56is relatively an underdog to win their own conference where teams barely making it into

01:01the playoffs, per se, have much better odds pricing. That's just what it is. They don't

01:04put a lot of stock in the regular season as they do into the playoffs. But it is interesting

01:08to see that the Golden State Warriors now not just saying, OK, their favorite over the number

01:12two seed. No, they're the third in line in the odds market here at the family sports book

01:16to cut down the nets, per se, in the Western Conference, which again, I vehemently disagree

01:20with. And maybe it'll play out that way. And maybe the odds makers, as we say, typically

01:24are the smartest men in the room and they get this right. But the fact that they're right

01:27on the heels, the Warriors to the Los Angeles Lakers and so far ahead of the Clippers and

01:31the Nuggets and the Timberwolves and the Rockets who have home court advantage and are rested

01:35and ready, ready to take on the Golden State Warriors. I, this is fascinating. Like it's almost

01:39like a case study. I need to see how this series plays out to be like, yep, they're always

01:43right. Don't you dare pay any iota of attention to the regular season because it's insignificant

01:48and doesn't matter. Just look at the roster on paper and say, if they make it to the

01:52playoffs, they'll be better than the other roster. It'll be fun to watch this, this work

01:56out and play out.
