'They're Like Heroin Addicts': Bernie Sanders Slams Oligarchs And Billionaires For Their 'Greed'

At a "Fight Oligarchy" rally in Nampa, Idaho on Monday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) spoke about billionaires' 'addiction' to 'greed.'

00:00I want to say a word about the oligarchs, because it's something I really don't quite understand.

00:11One might think that if you had 10, 20, 30 billion dollars, it would be enough.

00:18You might think that.

00:20But, you know, in America, we have a lot of people who are dealing with addiction issues, drugs, alcohol, whatever.

00:27Well, these guys, these oligarchs, have a major, major addiction problem.

00:34And you know what it is?

00:35It is greed.

00:38They're like heroin addicts.

00:40They can't control themselves.

00:42They need more and more.

00:45And they do not care who they step over in order to get another billion dollars.

00:50So we are going to take care of their addiction problems.
