00:00On the other news, many licensed Filipino drivers are so adept in running and operating their automobiles,

00:06but yet know so little about driving right or properly given their lack of knowledge of the rules of the road.

00:13Little wonder why road rage encounters has risen and even worse have led to serious injuries or loss of life.

00:21Hence, the president urges all those behind the wheel to follow traffic rules and regulations at all times

00:27as we hear more from our Christian Bascones.

00:32Shouting, shoving, confrontations with threats and even fistfights.

00:36There are also reports of shootings with some even resulting in deaths.

00:39These are the string of incidents that happened last week involving road rage.

00:43Due to the observance of Holy Week, a surge in travelers is expected,

00:47which prompted President Ferdinand R. Marcus Jr. to issue a message urging the public to be extra careful.

00:52Ang tatapang na natin lahat, siga lahat, ano na ba ang kultura na ito

00:57na pagiging siga sa daan, saan ba natin na kuha ito?

01:00Ano na bang nangyayari sa atin at parang natural lang ang mga ganitong komponotasyon at karahasan?

01:06Tayong lahat ay kailangan sumunod sa batas trapiko.

01:09Kailangan ang disiplina para maging responsabling mga Pilipino sa lansangan.

01:15The president added that drivers should exercise more patience on the road to avoid trouble delays and unwanted incidents.

01:21Huwag maging kamote, masyado ng madami yan.

01:25Ang lisensya sa pagmamaneho ay isang pribilehyo at hindi ito karapatan.

01:30At bukod sa dunong sa pagmamaneho, ang lahat ay kailangan ayusin ang pag-uugali sa pagmamaneho at habaan ang pasensya.

01:38Ang bagong Pilipino ay disiplinado sa lansangan.

01:41Maingat sa pananalita, nagtitimpi at pinipili ang kapayapaan.

01:45Ang lahat ay napapag-usapan ng maayos at malumanay.

01:49Lugi tayo at ang mga pamilya natin sa mga posibleng dala nitong kapalit.

01:55Kung hahayaan natin, lamunin tayo ng galit kahit isang saglit lamang.

02:04especially from foreigners who make fun of our countrymen.

02:07This followed the arrest of a Russian vlogger who disrespected several Filipinos just to gain attention from his social media followers.
