00:01Parti Bersatu Sabah Vice President Arthur Sen has hit out at Warisan students Wong for attempting to associate Sarawak Premier Abang Johari Openg with Warisan's political campaign to save Sabah.
00:13Arthur was responding to a Facebook post by Wong in which the Warisan Vice President urged voters to back party President Shafi Abdel, describing him as our version of Abang Johari and calling on Sabahans to vote Warisan to save Sabah.
00:25In a clip of Wong's speech at a party event, he had claimed that Shafi had refused to lure defectors with positions during the 2020 Sabah political crisis and instead dissolved the state assembly with the consent of then Sabah Governor Juhar Mahiruddin.
00:40However, in a Facebook post, Arthur expressed his amusement and mocked the comparison, quoting the late Sarawak deputy CM James Massing, who once accused Warisan of fearing to demand oil and gas rights.
00:50He said Wong's attempt to build a political narrative linking Abang Johari to Warisan was far-fetched.
00:57In an apparent swipe at Warisan's previous handling of identity documentation, he also said he had never seen Abang Johari endorse court orders for the issuance of Malaysian identity cards.
