00:01An employee at the Kuala Lumpur Tower has called for Menara Kuala Lumpur Sundian Berhard to set aside its agenda in its dispute over the concession to manage the iconic skyscraper.
00:12He said the outgoing operator should stand down and let the new company to take charge of operations.
00:19LSH service master Sundian Berhard was supposed to take over the management of the KL Tower on April 1st,
00:25but a standoff occurred after MKLSB and its parent company, Hyder Shop Sundian Berhard, initiated a lawsuit against the award of the concession, alleging contractual breaches and misconduct.
00:38Speaking in condition of anonymity, the employee said that he, along with about 90% of the current KL Tower staff, were absorbed by LSH service master after they had their services terminated by MKLSB.
00:50He said that because LSH service master is prevented from taking over operations, its employees are now stuck in the middle and are unable to clock in for work.
01:00He also said he was disappointed with MKLSB for putting the employees in such a predicament.
