00:41well Charles for the things for Cardiff City are still looking pretty dire in the championship

00:49although they did secure themselves what could be a vital point come the end of the season in the

00:55championship on Tuesday evening a draw away at Preston North End

00:59Yaku Mite I think I've got the pronunciation right on that one grabbing a last gasp equaliser for the

01:06Bluebirds at Deepdale not a win but as I say that could prove to be a vital point it keeps them level

01:12with Derby County who also drew they drew with Burnley which is to be fair to Derby County that's

01:17quite a good result against a really strong Burnley side but for Cardiff I think if they'd lost that

01:21game and you know Burnley drew yes they'd only probably gain a point on them but it keeps them

01:26bang level and only a point behind the team's just ahead of them as well so not not the greatest result

01:32in the world but certainly I think given the context of the equaliser and the time it came and the

01:37confidence that might bring the fact that it keeps them level on points with the team above them just

01:40outside the relegation zone probably a really valuable point for Cardiff City and Omarisa's side as well so

01:47all things still to play four games still remain in the Championship five games left

01:51but I think that game can certainly provide a lot of confidence just getting that equaliser

01:56at such a vital time

01:58Yeah I think Derby County fans would probably be

02:04were gutted when that went in and then the score popped up and they'd found a late point

02:09I mean yeah as you say that the confidence that that brings is is massive it just shows fans that

02:15there could be that little bit of fight left in this team with this side who have pressed and had

02:19a real you know dire campaign from start to finish you know with the managerial situation the

02:25protest to the board saying there's not enough communication of what's actually going on

02:30the summer window is disappointing the January window is actually you know the only sort of saving

02:35grace where they brought in the likes of Yusuf Salak got an assist as well in the game he's been

02:41fantastic since he came in but yeah the slide down the table has been so damning I think

02:47maybe ever since the South Wales Derby win it's all sort of gone slowly downhill and

02:54teams around them have really started to pick up and then you look at Cardiff City but you know

03:01there is some positives to take and it's the fact that they aren't beaten in a few games they

03:05haven't lost since the diabolical loss at home to Luton Town they haven't lost since then I mean

03:13that's positive they are becoming slightly harder to beat which is good obviously drawing with Sheffield

03:18Wednesday QPR and now Preston and yes as you say finding a late late late goal like that you know

03:25that could be the goal that just you look at yes they're in a relegation zone at the moment

03:29but if they are to stay up that that could be the goal that could be the goal where you know fans

03:36and pundits look at it and go was that the turning point was that the the one that sort of kept them

03:42in this in this championship because you know if they drop three points there it it all looks way

03:47bleaker as I say because Derby County are you know slowly trying to make sure that they're becoming a

03:52better side they had you know a win at four games in a row of wins only a couple of weeks ago and then

03:59drew at home to Burnley who were obviously promotion contenders so that was a great point for them

04:03at home and you know it's obviously a very very tough situation it's been a long season as I say

04:09and and Cardiff City are really hoping to avoid the drop if they are to go down would there be fair

04:16suitors for it possibly you know 17 losses in the championship along with a fair few sides I mean

04:22if you look down at the table it's only four points to to 16th if they can get anything from them

04:28that's a positive but those three home games if they get nine points I'm sure they'll just about

04:34be safe in this championship relegation battle and can hopefully push on for a better future

04:40because this is a situation they definitely want to avoid next season
