Washington Think Tank Calls on Taipei To Boost Military Spending

Washington-based think tank the Global Taiwan Institute has released a report calling on Taiwan to increase its defense budget and buy more U.S. weapons. The institute said that doing so was important to convincing Taipei's allies that it has the willpower to defend itself from China.
