00:00the brain is kind of structurally like a giant ball of spaghetti right in order to be able to

00:15figure out what are all the parts of the brain and who's talking to who we have to try to follow

00:20that spaghetti all the way through the mess and find get to the end and see who's who's on the

00:27other side of the line have a really a whole host of data before we cut up the brain into tiny tiny

00:42sections about how these neurons respond to visual stimuli and then we took the brain of that mouse

00:48and that's the one that we sectioned up and then measured how these cells are connected to so we

00:54have in this data set both the structure of the brain and measurements about how those exact

01:01individual cells were responding to visual stimuli you look at these kinds of pictures of the brain

01:14and you get a sense of how complicated you are we're looking at you know one tiny part one five hundredth

01:20of a mouse's brain and the beauty and complexity that you can see in the in these actual neurons and

01:29the hundreds of millions of connections between them
