History predicted Thursday's market plummet

Previous Nasdaq bumps like the one on April 9 have been follow by some severe plunges.

00:06However, if you think the short-lived bear market is over, you're in for a rude awakening.

00:11Call it whatever you'd like, the calm before the storm, a relief rally, or whatever sort of

00:15cliche you can come up with, but history says to brace for impact. Of the 25 best days for the

00:21Nasdaq, which includes April 9th, 24 of them have come during some kind of financial crisis,

00:26with 22 of them occurring during the dot-com collapse. The Nasdaq is still down 1% in April,

00:32but it's a far cry from where it stood during other times of crisis. In October of 1987,

00:37the index plummeted by 27%, and again by 23% in November of 2020. However, the Nasdaq is coming
