00:18in memphis between the grizzlies and the timberwolves for two teams trying to battle their

00:24way out if possible of a play in tourney spot minnesota an ever so slight favorite against

00:30memphis point and a half in the spread now minus 130 on the money line you see some market movement

00:36they are over under 232 it is basically a pick them tonight in memphis who gets the dub

00:43i think the timberwolves will ultimately come away with the win but i do not expect this to be

00:48a high-flying game you know i'm not going to say memphis is a good defensive team because they're

00:53not but at least they've been playing somewhat better over this three-game stretch granted when

00:57those games against the hornets one win against the key third eight it's not some amazing offensive

01:01team but they're at least playing a little bit better and that's what they need ending up the

01:05regular season and of course heading into the playoffs but specifically in this game i like

01:09and again words under 28 and a half points despite the fact i think minnesota comes away with the win

01:13you know anth is a player that can like he has a wide range of outcomes because he's a little bit

01:18volatile the the shot volume will always be there for him but when you look back at his recent game

01:22bug you know we're seeing games where it goes two of 11 from downtown one of 10 from downtown

01:26one of 11 whatever it might be like the volume will always be there and it can be a little bit

01:30scary to take an under on a player so they're going to take you know 10 15 threes but i like that this

01:35game environment is going to be an intense physical uh you know playoff type game and that

01:40leads to ant on the under we will take the volatility on the under today we'll take a look at

01:45the new york knicks and the detroit pistons this line's certainly on the move so you take a look at

01:49the opening number at five early this morning is as high as five and a half now we're seeing a crash

01:53down in the marketplace to three and a half as a favorite for the pistons which is something you're

01:57going to see over the final couple days of the season where you're just waiting to see who the

02:00actual starting lineup will be 225 and a half is the opening number on the total now as you see on

02:05the graphic to 228 and a half any thoughts today on the pistons and the knicks for you tom you know i

02:11don't mind the pistons today laying the points i we have to double check the news on brunson if he's

02:16going to continue to play continue to be on a minute slum because i believe that they're locked

02:20into the four seed right where the three seed whatever it is like they can't catch boston they

02:24can't three see they can't fall down to the pacers so they don't have anything to play for so brunson

02:30coming back from the injury will they get him out there for like 20 25 minutes get him in the flow

02:34of things ultimately scale him back as the game goes on that could leave an opening for the pistons to

02:39cover yeah and that's kind of the thought i think becky o detroit by the way still booked as an

02:44underdog more frequently this year than as a favorite but that has really changed since the

02:49all-star break as detroit has solidified its spot as a playoff team the pistons could catch the

02:56milwaukee bucks who currently sit with the five seed in a two-game lead over detroit milwaukee in

03:02action tonight at home as well against the lowly new orleans pelicans and milwaukee is a 14 and a

03:08half point favorite by the way for that game between the grizzlies and the t wolves minnesota

03:12an ever so slight favorite vecchio likes the timberwolves to win if that is the case we're

03:17back to an even stronger log jam minnesota memphis golden state would all be 47 and 33 with just two

03:25games remaining to end out this final week of the regular seasons all right drs to the nba tonight

03:31marquee games along this five game slate really important one as we shared in memphis grizzlies and

03:38the timberwolves right now memphis on the right side of that playing tourney bubble they are the

03:44sixth seed in the western conference but not expected to win tonight those odds have flipped

03:49it is the timberwolves as a minus 130 money line favorite what's your approach to this memphis matchup

03:55yeah interesting 234 and a half that opening number you see that graphic there 233 and a half now it's

04:00down to 232 so that number is dropping and also the memphis grizzlies overnight here in new jersey

04:04opened up as that one point favorite as you see on the graphic now we're seeing the timberwolves

04:08minus one and it's high and some outlets been at two and a half right now which may determine who's

04:13actually in that starting lineup where we're getting some of that movement looking at the

04:16anticipated starting lineups tonight john morant desmond bain williams jackson and edie and then

04:21conley edwards mcdaniels randler and gobert here for the minnesota timberwolves so usually i like to

04:26chase lines as it is and there's a reason probably why this line for a 9 30 game tonight at 10 to 10 30

04:32in the morning let's just say that we're looking at that shift it must be somebody's getting word

04:36that maybe somebody's sitting out i'll ride with that line movement i'll take the timberwolves here

04:40at the minus one and a half points yeah drs because the projected starting five for the grids is their

04:46regular starting five memphis has started to figure things out after this the dismissal of head coach

04:52taylor jenkins to be now in that six spot the grizzlies with their win earlier this week

04:57cashing my favorite preseason win total bet over 46 and a half they have 47 but again if the grids

05:04lose tonight and minnesota wins alongside golden state who lost at the buzzer last night in a game

05:09they can ill afford to lose against the shorthanded san antonio spurs all three of those teams at 47 and

05:1633 trying to determine who will play in the 7-8 matchup of the play-in tournament on tuesday night

05:22and who will be the sixth seed just immediately into the western conference playoffs and pretty

05:27good theater down the final three days or so of this nba regular season not much still at stake

05:34for the new york knicks they are going to be the three seed in the eastern conference they've got a

05:40two-game lead over the pacers who also play tonight technically they have not locked it up being the

05:45knicks but they can't catch the celtics of course for that two seed so new york still with something to

05:51play for in a three and a half point road dog tonight against detroit of course the knicks in

05:57overtime in a really critical and crucial game on tuesday night drs came up short against the boston

06:03celtics now oh and six oh and seven this year against the seas and the calves and oh and seven

06:09against the spread how about as an underdog tonight on the road in the motor city interesting too because

06:14that line overnight opened up as a five point spread and a favorite for the home team the detroit

06:17pistons now dropping to three and a half live and also the total 225 and a half actually rising

06:22three total points now to 228 and a half you're down a couple starters in the anticipated starting

06:27lineup tonight for the knicks brunson mcbride bridges achua and carl anthony towns and you see the normal

06:32starting five here for detroit but as you said still something to play for for the knicks the pistons

06:37i don't really know how much they can move i can't the pistons actually move out of the six seed at

06:41any point right now i'm not so they can so both teams so we're getting a no any yes they can't

06:46fall back they can catch they can move higher that's unlikely they can't yeah they can't fall

06:51back into the playing tournament though i think which is what donnie was asking if i'm not mistaken

06:55yeah so with the drop here at this point that three and a half i think i might be buying into the

07:00knicks a little bit right now still something to play for at this point line dropping from five to

07:04three and a half i might take the three and a half points this game but these are so tough to

07:07handicap just based on what we're actually going to see out of the starting lineups in a couple hours

07:11as we said the pistons have been booked as a favorite far more often in the second half of

07:17this season after the all-star break than they did early on detroit though has dropped four of its last

07:23five they haven't played since monday yes the pistons can theoretically catch milwaukee but they

07:29trail the box by two games with only three games remaining milwaukee a 14 and a half point home

07:35favorite tonight against the new orleans pelicans but detroit cannot fall in to a play and tourney

07:41spot the four teams in the eastern conference that will be in the play and tournament have already

07:45clinched those spots just got to figure out some seating the cleveland cavaliers big home victory on

07:52tuesday night drs against the bulls as was anticipated because of it the calves have clinched the one seed

07:58they're good they're a nine and a half point road dog tonight in indianapolis because of it

08:03hammer them nine and a half nine and a half i think it goes to 10 10 and a half at this point

08:08double digit victory for the pacers tonight the cleveland cavaliers hey eyes on the prize it's a

08:12championship not tonight in indy they get beat the pacers could catch uh the new york knicks for that
