00:00Exactly two weeks away from the opening round of the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
00:07Mark Zinno doing a little bit of everything here on his half an hour on the early line.
00:11A national championship game rematch in college hoops.
00:14Now we look at those college football stars of yesterday looking to take that leap to the next level in the NFL.
00:22Of course, Zinno knows that better than most with his college football acumen now paying it forward to the NFL Draft.
00:28Two weeks away, Mark Zinno, in Green Bay.
00:31How excited are you?
00:33I'm nauseous as a Giants fan.
00:35I just can't wait to watch them screw this up again.
00:38I mean, they're an unserious franchise.
00:41They're a joke right now.
00:42And I have no idea what they're going to do, whether they would take a third quarterback.
00:46Because, you know, one of the two quarterbacks that they signed already is concerned with giggles.
00:49He's here for giggles.
00:50He actually said that out loud in a press conference.
00:53Yeah, Jameis Winston said that.
00:54I'm here for giggles.
00:56Okay?
00:56Yeah, well, yeah.
00:57You have the lowest winning percentage of any team in the NFL in the last 10 years.
01:02And you signed a quarterback that's here for giggles.
01:04I'm here for wins, not giggles.
01:06Okay?
01:07So, that's where the Giants are at this point in time.
01:09It's going to be an abject disaster.
01:11And I'm here for it all.
01:13D.R.S., do you want me to go or you want to take the first question?
01:15Yeah.
01:16It's pretty good.
01:17Yeah, we need a lead up after that, Ben.
01:19Go ahead.
01:19Lead right into it.
01:20All right, we'll get to the Giants in just a moment.
01:22And maybe, just maybe, would they ever invest in a quarterback at third overall after signing
01:28Mr. Giggles, Jameis Winston, and Mr., what's his name?
01:33What do they call him?
01:34Oh, yeah.
01:34Mr. Unlimited in Russell Wilson.
01:39All right.
01:39But we start at number one overall.
01:41The pick the Tennessee Titans hold at this moment.
01:44And Ziddo, it has become rather clear.
01:47Cam Ward is going first overall in two weeks.
01:50Minus 20,000 to be the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
01:56Are you comfortable with that strong of a number on Cam Ward to be one of one?
02:02Seems like that's what the Titans want to do at this point in time.
02:05You know, again, I think there are a lot of holes on that roster.
02:07But obviously, they believe that Cam Ward is going to be a franchise quarterback for years
02:11to come.
02:13You know, look, when you have the number one overall pick, you have to swing big.
02:16That's kind of what the whole thing is about, for the most part.
02:19And the Titans, I think, next year will win four or five games, regardless whether they
02:25have Cam Ward or not.
02:26So I think there's a lot of holes in that roster.
02:28I think there's an argument for them to take Abdul Carter, who may be the best player in
02:31this draft, and go get a quarterback later on down the road.
02:33But, you know, again, you can't pass up the opportunity.
02:38To take the prohibitive best quarterback in the draft, even if it's not a great quarterback
02:41class, you don't pass up the opportunity to take the best quarterback available at
02:46number one overall when you have the pick.
02:48And it looks like Cam is going to be that number one overall pick.
02:51But then what most people think will be the second quarterback taken, just where he's going
02:54to be taken, would be Shador Sanders.
02:56If we look at the FanDuel Sportsbook, the team's mark to draft Shador Sanders.
03:00The Saints, the Giants, the Steelers, the Jets, and the Browns in that order.
03:04I'm not going to ask you where he's supposed to go or who's going to draft him.
03:08Where do you want him to go where you think he could possibly have the most success?
03:13Well, again, if the Giants weren't a joke of a franchise and signed two really bad back
03:17quarterbacks, I would have loved to have seen him in New York.
03:20Look, I think Sanders' ceiling is high.
03:22I think his floor may be low, but I think his ceiling is high.
03:25And that's really what you're drafting when you're taking Shador Sanders.
03:27You're drafting his ceiling.
03:28That could be something that could elevate your franchise.
03:31I mean, that's, you know, if the apple doesn't fall far and the pedigree is what we think
03:35it is, then he could be a game-changing type player for an organization.
03:40Could he be a complete bust?
03:41Possibly.
03:42But I just think his ceiling is really high and it's too much to pass up at this point
03:46in time.
03:47I find it hard to believe he would fall all the way to nine to the New Orleans Saints.
03:51I mean, you know, I don't know where all these rumors are coming from.
03:56I mean, we see this every year in the draft, the white noise that starts to come out and,
03:59you know, all the background noise that you hear about guys rising and falling and where
04:02things are going to go.
04:04We know quarterbacks are always overdrafted.
04:06Could it be one of those things where New Orleans trades up or a team trades up to go
04:10get him?
04:11But the idea that he makes it past five, I mean, even if we're a team like New Orleans
04:16or somebody like, you know, the Jets or whatever really wanted him, once he starts falling past
04:22the Giants, if the Giants don't take him, how much longer are you willing to wait
04:25and risk to see that somebody else won't trade up and get him, that you have to trade up
04:29and get him?
04:30Like, that's what it boils down to.
04:31So, you know, I would, I think if he gets past the Giants at three, we will see somebody
04:36trade up to go get him immediately.
04:39The number around Shador Sanders to be a top five pick when this market opened was plus
04:44145.
04:45It is now plus 200, giving credence to the idea that maybe he could fall all the way
04:50to the Saints at that ninth overall pick, because really after the top two picks with
04:55the Giants investing in Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston this offseason, nobody really
05:01needs a quarterback.
05:01And it doesn't really seem as though the Browns are all that interested in using that second
05:06overall pick in a QB.
05:08We'll talk more QBs in just a moment, but Mark Zinno, as a New York Giants fan, I do
05:13want to get your thoughts on what you hope the Giants do at third overall.
05:18Abdul Carter, the edge rusher, game wrecker out of Penn State, now a hefty odds on favorite
05:24at minus 170 to be that third overall pick.
05:27Are you okay if that's the decision that the G-men make with that third overall selection?
05:33Yes, I'd be very happy.
05:34The Giants haven't drafted a legitimate defensive player in a long time.
05:39And for an organization that, again, has lost its way, you got to go back the better part
05:46of 13 years now to prove how they lost their way.
05:50I think more, no, I'm sorry, more like 11.
05:52But, and I say all that to say that, you know, when the Giants fortunes changed as an organization,
05:59the minute they drafted Odell Beckham Jr. over Aaron Donald, it was the worst mistake that
06:04the organization made.
06:05I screamed the day that they did it.
06:07And I was, I rued the day that they did it.
06:10But that's really what it was for an organization that was built on defense and running the football.
06:14And that's how they got their championships.
06:15They went away from that and started chasing skilled position players.
06:19When in reality, Aaron Donald retired a New York Giant with another Super Bowl in his back pocket.
06:24So it's about time the Giants draft a defensive player that really could turn this organization around.
06:30Not the day they drafted a running back second overall to just let him walk to a divisional
06:34foe and help them win a Super Bowl.
06:36That was after.
06:37That was after.
06:372014 started it.
06:40Yes.
06:40I mean, just allow me real quickly.
06:43Dexter Lawrence, first round 2019.
06:45That will be remembered for Daniel Jones.
06:47No love for Kayvon Thibodeau a couple of years ago.
06:50Kayvon Thibodeau is a nice player.
06:52He's a good player.
06:53Has he changed the course of the franchise?
06:55Does he change the course of a defensive, still finishes bottom 10 in the league?
06:59Like, I don't know.
07:00Doesn't feel like it.
07:01Like, again, they need more complementary pieces here to make this defense whole.
07:05Abdu Carter could absolutely transform this defense.
07:09The opening round of the 89th playing of the 2025 Masters Tournament now underway.
07:1589th playing of the Masters now in 2025.
07:18But you get the gist.
07:20And as we shared, a very hot start for Joaquin Neiman.
07:24He is three under through his opening four holes.
07:26I'll tell you what I just did with a profit boost on the FanDuel Sportsbook for your round
07:30one leader.
07:31I just bet Neiman at a nine to one price.
07:34Got to maintain this throughout.
07:36And of course, we'll see what the afternoon conditions have for many marquee golfers in
07:41that afternoon wave.
07:42But love the start out of Joaquin Neiman, who has been playing lights out this year on
07:46the Live Golf Series.
07:47And off to a great start today at Augusta.
07:50Jordan Spieth, from about 45 feet, buries a birdie on his opening hole at the 2025 Masters.
07:57Scotty Scheffler, a birdie on the par five second.
08:01He is one under early as well.
08:04Some really great golf underway in some really idyllic conditions to begin play at the 2025
08:09Masters on this Thursday.
08:13Scotty enters as the reigning champ and the favorite at a four to one price.
08:19Hoping to join Jack Nicklaus as the first golfer since the mid-1960s to win three green jackets
08:26in a four-year window.
08:28The Golden Bear did so in 1963, 65, and 66.
08:33Scotty Scheffler hoping to do so in 2022, last year in 2024, and this year in 2025.
08:39And make sure you are paying attention locked into your television screens starting a little
08:44bit after 1 p.m. Eastern time, Rory McIlroy, Ludwig Oberg, Akshay Batia, 1.12 p.m. Eastern
08:51for a great afternoon slate at Augusta to end out the opening round on this Thursday.
08:57All of the action, we will recap for you to begin round number two on Friday morning here
09:03on the early line.
09:04Exactly two weeks from today, the 2025 NFL Draft begins in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
09:10Opening night, opening round, round number one, exactly two weeks from now.
09:15Let's take a look at the top 10.
09:17The Titans still holding that number one overall pick, followed by the Browns, Giants, Patriots,
09:23and Jags.
09:24That rounds out the top five.
09:25The Raiders, Jets, Panthers, Saints, and Bears.
09:29That is the top 10 of the opening round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
09:33What is incredibly notable about this NFL Draft as of right now, we've shared it a few
09:38times.
09:39In the modern draft era, since the NFL firmed up its seven-round selection process back
09:44in 1994, or when the National Football League added its 32nd franchise back in the early
09:502000s, this is the only time in the modern history of the draft, basically three decades
09:56worth of a sample size, that at this stage of the draft process, into the league year that
10:02began nearly a month ago, that all 32 NFL clubs have held on to their original first-round
10:11selection and still hold that pick.
10:14Are we going to see some trades in the next two weeks?
10:17Might we see a trade on draft night?
10:20Maybe.
10:20We haven't seen much movement yet in terms of that draft order.
10:25Where we have seen the movement is in the draft odds, even to go number one overall.
10:31Back as we were getting ready for the NFL Combine in late February, Cam Ward, Miami's quarterback,
10:37was about minus 120, minus 135 to go first overall.
10:41We expected him to be that first overall pick to hear his name called before anybody else
10:47in the 2025 NFL Draft.
10:49It is now all but confirmed at minus 20,000.
10:54Cam Ward is going first overall to the Tennessee Titans.
10:58That's what we expect to start the NFL Draft two weeks from now.
11:02In the last 72 to 96 hours or so, we have seen substantial movement in number two and number
11:09three overall.
11:10At this time last week, Abdul Carter, the edge rusher out of Penn State, was a minus 270 favorite
11:16to go second overall.
11:17Now it's at a minus 280 price, but for the Heisman winner in Travis Hunter to go second
11:23overall to the Cleveland Browns.
11:25Third overall to the New York Giants, Abdul Carter is the favorite at minus 170.
11:31As always, the caveat for betting the NFL Draft, it doesn't have to be the Browns that take
11:37Travis Hunter at number two overall.
11:40Just that Travis Hunter goes second overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.
11:45I cannot wait, and I think we'll probably see it here in the next week and a half or so,
11:50the over-under for quarterbacks taken in the first round.
11:54I think the number is two and a half.
11:57I think the under should have some juice, but there's been a lot of conversation and speculation
12:02in the last few days that maybe a third quarterback after Cam Ward in whatever Shador Sanders is
12:09slotted goes in the first round.
12:11Is it going to be Jackson Dart, the QB out of Ole Miss?
12:15Some speculation around him, or perhaps the quarterback from Alabama in Jalen Milrow,
12:21who has accepted an invite to attend the NFL Draft in Green Bay.
12:26The early line returns tomorrow, 8 a.m. Eastern, here on Sportsbook.
