00:07Ito'y dahil sa ipatutupad na reforma ng iba't ibang mga kinaukulang ahensya ng gobyerno,

00:13particular pagdating sa licensure exam.

00:16Kung ano yan, alamin sa sentro ng balita ni Kenneth Pasyente.

00:25pinirmahan na ang Joint Memorandum Circular sa pagitan ng Commission on Higher Education

00:29at Professional Regulation Commission na sinaksihan mismo ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:35Magsisilbing daan ang JMC para itugma ang Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers

00:40sa Teacher Education Curriculum ng CHED.

00:43Sa pamamagitan nito, masisiguro na ang pagsusulit ay sumasalamin sa mga kakayahang kinakailangan

00:49para sa epektibong pagtuturo na nakabatay sa policies, standards at guidelines.

00:54Gate ng Pangulo, napapanahon ang reformang ito para maitaguyod ang kapakanan ng future teachers sa bansa

01:00na magre-resultaan niya sa pagpapalakas ng kakayahan ng mga guro na linangin ang mga estudyante.

01:26Paraan din anya ito na matugunan ng mababang passing rates sa licensure examination for teachers.

01:31Batay kasi sa ulat ng 2nd Congressional Commission on Education o EDCOM-2

01:35ang kawalan ng pagkakatugma sa pagitan ng kurikulo mula sa CHED

01:39at ng BLEP na ibinibigay ng PRC ay nagdudulot ng mababang passing rate

01:44at hindi tugmang espesyalisasyon ng mga guro.

01:47Ayon pa sa EDCOM-2, lumalabas sa 62% ng mga guro sa high school

01:51ang nagtuturo ng mga asignaturang hindi nila espesyalisasyon noong kolehyo.

01:55Through this joint circular, we are making that process more than just relevant,

02:02more responsive, to every single examinee.

02:06Alongside this, we are giving education graduates not just another shot,

02:10but we are giving them a good chance.

02:13Because what they learn should prepare them for the tests that they are meant to take

02:17and the classrooms they are meant to lead.

02:20Sa bisa ng JMC, magkakaroon na ng hiwalay na pagsusulit para sa elementary education,

02:25secondary education, at iba pang espesyalisasyon gaya ng early childhood education

02:30at special needs education.

02:32Lahat ng bansa ngayon ay naghahabol at nag-i-invest na malaki

02:38upang matiyak na ang ating mga estudyante, ang ating workforce

02:43ay maging handa dito sa bagong sistema ng ekonomiya

02:49na napakalaking, napakalaki ang ginagawa sa digital space na itinatawag.

02:58So that, this is addressed by the revised structure of the BLEP,

03:04which will now consist of three core components,

03:07professional education, general education, and the examinee's chosen field of specialization.
